I totally recommend this guitar!
This guitar is really awesome! When I unboxed it, I gave it a quick tuning and ran through some KISS riffs, and immediately could tell right off the bat the natural resonance that this guitar has. At some point I’ll most likely upgrade the pots for personal preference, but that’s not a complaint at all. This beauty is well put together, and the tone versatility is amazing! This truly is one of the best guitars out there in its price range. The neck to me feels like an ML neck, not too thin and not too wide. The action for playability is great, and the tone is amazing!And btw, to comment on a previous review, while there are seven string Iceman models on the market, the Iceman was originally put out as a six string instrument in the seventies. In fact the first seven string model Ibanez came out with was the Universe, the Steve Vai signature model, that came out roughly 13 years after the Iceman. Had to say that lol

Love the guitar although I was expecting it to be silver and it looks more gold sparkle than anything. Wonder if they changed the color cos from other people pics it looks silver.

Simply Awesome!
The guitar plays very well and stays in tune well also. Beautiful out of the box. I bought it with the intention of replacing the pickups with an EVH. However, stock pickups are very good with great midrange response. Great for rock and grunge sounds. Looks phenomenal and fun to play. Very light guitar. I may upgrade the tuners for C# downtuning tunings. The only downside is the tip of the guitar chipped slightly before I put the strap on to protect it. Minor flaw and cant be seen. Great value and a definite eye-catcher.

Damaged, Missing Parts, and Body is Gold
For almost $400 I was heavily disappointed when I opened my package and it had very clearly already been opened by someone else beforehand. Firstly, the guitar body has two huge cracks in it and is more of a gold color while the headstock is the silver color it's supposed to be. The headstock cover also has multiple dings in it and the hummbuckers are missing 3 screws. I was EXCITED to get this purchase but now I'm left with a bitter feeling that I've just spent $400 for an product that's damaged and hasn't been manufactured properly. I went from a kid the day before Christmas to feeling depressed knowing I have to wait over a month trying to sort this out after already paying for it and get a new one (hopefully not damaged) delivered.
