Happy Marriage?!, Vol. 10

The product came exactly as I expected and I'm so happy to have procured all of the volumes in the series.

So many emotions with their relationships. I was on an emotional rollercoaster! I love the story that I didn’t want to put it down. It does kind of end on a good note but I wanted to know if she was pregnant in the end as that was left unconfirmed. And if she was , how did their family turn out. I’m not going to lie but I was a little shocked that he slapped her in the face twice throughout their marriage. Though it was to snap her out of this self loathe from comparing herself to other females or worth to him, I felt like it was almost uncalled for. However, I can see the love behind each action on his part. I wish there was a vol 11 but I was happy to be on this ride!

I really enjoyed this series. I bought the first book for kindle on a whim, and I could not help but get the other books. Before I knew it, I had reached the final book! It was a great romance story. I didn't feel like it was cheesy or too immature. It was just a really solid adult romance story.

I didn't expect very much of this manga since I'm not much of a fan of romance novels, but this one is surprisingly well done. I could identify with the character very well, she never did anything that made me groan or made me feel like she wasn't anything like me. It's set up is a bit contrived, but the reactions of the two main characters, which is the lion's share of the story, is credible and entertaining to read. It's something I would definitely lend to a friend (if I could - I order it as an ebook).

The mismatched romance manga series by Maki Enjoji concludes with, as expected, a happy ending, finally revealing who was behind the family scheming. There’s another showdown, first, throwing in another secret that shakes everything up. I don’t mind this kind of soap opera, if done well, since it can highlight universal family feelings through exaggerated machinations, but at this point, I’m tired of the whole thing. I’ve never found the emotions in this series at all realistic — and there’s nothing wrong with that, if the series can be entertaining for other reasons, but the stories were never that humorous or exciting or memorable either.So, summing up, at this point, I’m glad it’s over. I find it easier to process stories about the importance of blood ties and family obligations if they’re given more of an historical cover, since today those tales seem so outdated. Here, it just leads to lots of time-wasting as Chiwa goes back to her father’s house and sits around worrying. At least that’s consistent with the earlier books in the series. She’s never done much.The last chapter is all about how mismatched they are as a couple, but instead of addressing any of the concerns that annoy each other, they decide that that’s just their way. They say their vision of marriage is tiring, which I totally agree with, but it’s just accepted, a solution I found feeble. Instead, we get more stereotypical romantic myth-making, wedding dress and all, at the end. (The publisher provided a review copy. Review originally posted at ComicsWorthReading.com.)

I really enjoyed all the books in this Manga series. I couldn’t stop reading and each one just got better and better!!!

I could not out this manga down. So happy I decided to finally read another romance manga, although the two main characters were obnoxiously dramatic, I know it's a manga/anime custom. I found myself rolling my eyes constantly, but I had to see where this " happy marriage" would end.

I absolutely love this manga !! If you like romance I highly recommend.

This made me laugh so many times... I'm sad to see it end but we finally got the wedding ceremony- Chiwa style!

I laughed so hard...and cry!! Why did it have to end?! It makes me want to reread the whole series!
