Wonderful!
I'm only on the third page, and I have three pages of notes! It's a lot to absorb but is told so smoothly it is easy to understand. I would definitely recommend it, from glancing through and reading excerpts, to anyone who needs more enlightenment. The 'Tarot & Kabbalah' by Samael Aun Weor is beautifully illustrated and written.

Profound Gnostic understanding of divinatory arts
For those unfamiliar with any of the work of Samael Aun Weor may find this book a little hard to read. But if you give it time it doe show glimpses of knowledge that cannot be reached with conventional methods. For those who are familiar with his work, you will enjoy. The biggest mistake with any divinatory art is that people get caught in the magic of them all without perceiving the wisdom that lay esoterically within them. To understand the wisdom of the Tarot and Kabbalah from a Gnostic perspective, this is second to none.

Tarot & Kabbalah
I read this book over 15 years ago in the Spanish version and since then it is next to my bedside. This it is a clear and precise manual of a pathway to Self-realization. It helps the reader to undestand and put into perspective many of our philosophical questions tieying the East and West wisdom, making it accessible to us. I recommend that before you read this book you become familiar with Samael works and his teaching.

Comprehensive is a good definition for this book...
I have been reading this book and have found parts of it quite difficult to comprehend. It covers all religions as it says and brings similarities and origins to light, however, it takes for granted that you already know the doctrines and gods of all religions. It requires advanced study into other religions to understand some of the references and concepts offered. Very thorough in its coverage of topics and delivers what the title says it will. Overall a very good book.

The self-appointed authority.
I hold any author who does not make references to any of his statements and sets himself up as an undisputed authority with suspicion and was affronted by the author's purely self-asserted pseudo-mystical statements. The Spirit-World has been experienced by a great many mystics who do not express themselves with such arrogance.

Don’t get caught in the Astral Circus!
If your into spiritual works like me, I always like to question the purpose in studying works such as the one being reviewed. The big question comes down to what is my “why” for studying this? It took two years to come to a conclusion but I’m glad I finally have.I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time reading this publication or all the special techniques described in the book. Why?The truth is, If you want to get answers from divinity within You, It is always present. When it’s cloudy that doesn’t mean the sun is gone, only the clouds are obscuring its light! The state of Enlightenment is reveled fro undoing the ego. Divinity is always present, the only thing merely obscuring its light is the egos negative thought system.A perfect book to undoing the ego is a course in miracles, trust me the experience speaks for itself! You may wonder what is wrong with reading this book? To You I say nothing, but it only slows down spiritually progress when you use techniques that really are well illusions....But hey, I’m just letting you guys know that as a person who bought all Samuel works I found I had not much progress and eventually threw away all my books from him.The only thing I recommend to you is to look up Dr. David R Hawkins works, and reading a course in miracles! That is when my spiritual progression really begin....Wish you all the best!

Intense, in depth and overwhelming but gorgeous
This is a must to accompany the deck of cards. This is the true original way the tarot were ment to be used before they were altered by people to be used for deception and to fascinate people. This book covers so much more than the cards, since if you do not understand Kabbalah then you would not be able to understand the cards, truly understand not just intellectually. Of course we begin there. Reading this out of order is fine, it would take one with no knowledge a while for things to sink in since this is jam packed with must information. For the person who is brand new, highly recommend reading Samael Aun Weor's other books first. I have had this almost a year now and am still picking through it, although still excited about it as well. All of Samael Aun Weor's books are great. When I first started they were hard to read since they were blunt, right to the point and cut my ego down. I took a few months of processing time off after the shock, then I got back into it. All of the World's religions are eventually looked at, since the heart of them are the same. You are also encouraged to think, practice and experience things for yourself. Of course things require patience and learning, however if one wishes to no longer suffer day to day, then this is the way. Many more courses offered for free, references and even audio are available at the publishers site. Gnosticteachings.org

was hoping for something cooler- if you want to read tarot this is not going to help you.
This is 100% not practical in any way for reading tarot - or even understanding tarot? if you doubt this - pull a couple of cards and describe the meaning to someone....you just can't....i teach tarot and the kabbalah and i was soooo excited for this book....:( I'm just sad about that.okay so i'm not sure about the 5 star reviews?maybe i have just read a lot of the tarot and the kabbalah? but i find this book, soooo wordy for no good reason, it's repetitive beyond logic and he talks about sex wayyy to much...like every 3 pages....i keep picking it up over and over, and sometimes it gets really good and then bang!! any super deep concept just ends with a short sentence about sex, or sperm or something else that is just not needed.....maybe i had super high hopes for a book like this - and i thought at first, maybe i wasn't intellectual enough for it...but it's not me...this book is really just him going on and on....either he is trying to be super poetic...which is awkward sorta, but i don't think that's going on....he is just trying to fill the pages...sorry bud i thought your book was going to be better!I find the 5 stars are just coming from people who think perhaps the writer is smarter than them because he throws so many ideas around.

Tarot & Kabbalah : The Path of Initiation in the Sacred Arcana
This book is equivalent as to give somebody the holy grail or the philosopher's stone. It is something extraordinary. The amount of knowledge and the depth of it is simply breathtaking.A few excerpts from the book:Samael Aun Weor also corrects many mistakes and oversights made by Kabbalists and occultists. Many such corrections are made in this book but not explained. Primarily, it will be noted that many of the cards in the "popular" Tarot are improperly illustrated, interpreted, and numbered. This book provides a complete reference to the Tarot as it used and displayed by positively awakened beings in the Internal Worlds.Students who seek to comprehend the full depth of the Tarot and the Kabbalah must seek such understanding in meditation. Moreover, students who seek to comprehend the full depth of this book must also seek such understanding in meditation. Make no mistake: the true heart of this knowledge cannot be read from a page. It is found between the lines, in the white space-Emptiness-that can only be penetrated by the consciousness. Until we revolutionize our own minds and hearts and develop the capacity to retrieve such knowledge for ourselves, internally, directly, we will be "as a leaf tossed about by the wind." As we read in this book, "The intellectual loses the sense of a sentence only for the lack of a period or comma. The intuitive one knows how to read where the Master did not write, and to listen when the Master is not speaking."One who penetrates Chesed, the pure and ineffable world of the Spirit, can verify that in this region everything is reduced to numbers. This region is incredibly real. In this physical world, we do not see things as they are. We see merely the images of things of things. But when in Chesed, we can know the amount of atoms that form a table and the amount of Karma owed by the planet, as well as the amount of molecules that function in each body.Chesed is a world of mathematics. It is a realistic world. In Chesed, one may believe that one is separated from the reality of the world; yet, one is actually in the reality. In a temple of Chesed, one can know the quantity of people who are Self-realized, and the quantity of those who are not. If one enters a kitchen, one knows the amount of atoms that are in the food that one is going to eat. This is incredibly realistic world. In the world of Chesed, one knows who is truly a Human Being. In Kabbalah, everything is numbers and mathematics. The number is holy and infinite. In the universe everything is measurement and weight. For the Gnostics, God is geometrist. Mathematics is sacred. No one was admitted into the school of Pythagoras if they were not knowledgeable about mathematics, music, etc. Numbers are sacred. This world is terribly painful. The only thing that is worth living for is the realization of the Being, because all else is vanity. The process of reasoning divorces the mind from the Innermost. A mind which is divorced from the Innermost falls into the abyss of black magic.
