Compatible Soft Top Roof Protector Half Cover for Porsche Boxster 986

This is a great product and it’s very thick. Springtime where I live is so hard on cars because of heavy pollen. Black convertible tops especially attract the yellow mess and it’s hard to remove. This “top only” cover is easy to install and fits well. I really like it.

Seems well built and provides good protection for rain and heat. The windshield area is short and designed to be placed under wipers, leaving the windshield cowl exposed to heat and rain. Design should be changed to extend coverage at the front for protection of the very delicate plastic cowl area.I've only used it a few times in South Florida and have no idea as to how it will hold after a few months in this very hot and humid environment.

The cover is not quite long enough for me to close the back flaps in the trunk to secure it as the instructions say, and it is definitely not waterproof. It basically soaks through within an hour under normal/heavy rain. Basically adds a layer to make sure your top gets wet slower, so ir buys you some time I guess. Don't depend on it to keep your top dry for more than two hours though.

The fabric is of good quality but the edging was done poorly. Not type of quality expected.

I bought a new convertible top for $1.8K.Birds pooped on it, and my cat liked to use it as a scratching pad.This was unacceptable, so a made a temp cover with a beach towel and bungees.It sort of worked, and I decided to look for something better.The new cover is tough material and easy to clean.

I purchased cover for Porsche Boxster and loved the fit, look, and protection for about 5 months then cover seemed to shrink oddly and become brittle and now no longer fits in length from windshield to tuck flaps under trunk lid. I tried to contact North American Customs Covers (Canada company) but no reply from their preferred email contact and there is no phone number to call. Overall I'd buy again but would prefer a product that does not shrink and a company that proactively works to address customer concerns.

Great fit and protection for the soft top

I wish I bought this cover much earlier. It's super easy to use it. Also, I live in a very windy area. I was hesitant it was going to hold. But it has magnets that keep it in place.Thanks fro such a great cover.
