Safariland6070UBL-2-2 Universal Belt Loop Holsters with 3 Hole Pattern

I wanted this as an option to the lower drop that came with my holster. Typical Safariland quality and works for my needs. These things are usually a little over priced for what they are, IMO. But the fit and quality is there so still worth it.

This is the real Safariland Universal Belt Loop mid range drop for a Safariland 3 hole pattern holster, not a cheap Chinese knock off. Pair it with any of the Safariland 5197 or 5198 holsters and you have an inexpensive holster set up for ASI/IDPA/USPSA competition. And the combo is a great range or out in the woods holster.

Hated this thing . It put the gun in the position I wanted but would flip up when I would draw from the holster.........!!!!!!!! UPDATE !!!!!!!!!!This mid ride works perfectly with the ALS holster , not so much the open top holster. The open top uses passive retention , in other words the holster grips the gun with friction so not to fall out where as the ALS is an active retention holster and has a locking device . With the ALS the gun fits securely with no wobble and has no friction on the gun when drawing . Perfect position for a smooth and very fast draw, also clears body armour . The one negative is when wearing a seat belt , the belt goes directly over the gun and makes for almost impossible access where as a higher ride holster you can access easier when belted . Nothing perfect in this world. I work security both uniform and plain clothes . When in uniform the ALS with the mid ride belt attachment is perfect , in plain clothes the open top with the flexible high ride belt attachment works great due to how close it hugs the body for better concealment . Safariland makes great gear all around !!!

The quality is very good, just as the seller described, easy to use.

Anyone who has to be highly mobile with body armor will appreciate this mid range drop. Low enough to not ride up against your plate carriers/ running gear.... but not so low that in makes any thigh pockets useless or bounce uncontrollably while running... hits the perfect middle ground for function and draw speed.Any one who NEEDS to rely on a reliable draw under armor...this is your much needed addition to your kit

I did not like the height of the safariland holster for my Glock 26 when using the shirt belt adaptor. The draw was too high and the thumb release was too difficult to use even with an extreamly forward cant. This adaptor drops the holster enough to allow a more natural draw and eases the thum release pressure on my thumb and wrist. Down sides to this belt loop adaptor is the holster is at just the right level to make sitting a chore. Overall satisfied with this adaptor and holster combo. The belt adaptor is well made and sturdy with very little flexing or movement on the belt. This adaptor and holster combo securely holds the Glock with no issues and based on the quality and functionality I would buy again.

Great product exactly what I was looking for if you’re not looking for a thigh holster I want something that sits a little bit lower than the beltline and has a more natural dry feel give this a shot you can also order a tie strap from other companies that makes a little more secure if you’re running on the range definitely 10 out of 10 true Safariland products

The belt adapter that comes with holsters makes the draw difficult, a bit unnatural. With the mid rise, it makes the draw more natural and more comfortable. I added small nylon belt to my leg to holster so the mid ride doesn't flop around too much during running.
