Great for connecting water line to dishwasher
Whomever decided a garden hose connection was appropriate for a dishwasher connection deserves a wedgie.I found this adapter very easy to install and believe it will work well.Wedgies. Someone definitely needs a wedgie.

Great to attach old kitchen sink to garden hose
This is exactly what I was looking for to attach an old kitchen sink to a garden hose to rinse vegetables off in my garden & use the runoff water to water the vegetables.

Good, but realize it attaches rigidly to tube, i.e. DOES NOT ROTATE
The fitting works as expected, but realize that it does NOT ROTATE once the compression nut is secured. The female end on hoses rotates 99% of the time so you can tighten it against the fixed male end of a hose bib, or whatever. This female hose fitting remains fixed, so you've got to rotate the male end of whatever you're attaching. I couldn't find a male hose to 3/8 compression, so I'm using a double threaded nylon Male-Male fitting for my situation.

Six or one half dozen
This replaces the three pieces I used in the past. This allows me to go directly from a shutoff valve on the wall to the supply hose to the faucet. If any of the big box stores knew what they were talking about or knew what they sold I could have done this years ago with my last faucet.

Good quality no leaks

didn't work well
No matter how much I tightened this down, the 3/8inch plastic tubing kept popping out of the fitting. It would probably work on copper tubing.
