My little granddaughter is in the stage where she loves to play in her little toy kitchen. This set introduces a new variety of food to the menu. I particularly like that this set is consistently scaled. Everything fits together and seems realistic.Other plastic food packages that I have gotten have unrealistically scaled foods so you end up with a slice of watermelon that is smaller than a pile of green peas and a whole carrot is smaller than a fried eggs. Just because it's meant for children doesn't mean that some care shouldn't go into the design and planning of the set.With this set, she can present a plate that looks like something you would actually like to eat. We both appreciate that.

I bought these for my 18 month old. He loves grilling with his daddy, and these are so prefect!

What I love about this set? It's sturdy and attractive. What I wish were improved? The hamburger doesn't stack well on the buns. A child can "cook" the burger, but it slides out of the bun before the hamburger can be delivered to the parent. This is frustrating for the child. It's a shame, because this set is so well made, I'm sure it will last for this little one to pass on to her children. And they'll be equally frustrated when trying to transport their burger and have it slide apart.

I used this in my preschool class and the kids loved it! It is durable and will last. It has everything you need for a pretend cookout! Looks real.

I absolutely love this set! I got this set for my nephew to go with the Step 2 Grill that I got him, and honestly I wish I would have spent more and just gone with the Little Tikes BBQ as well. You could clearly tell that these were made from a thicker, more sturdy/heavy duty plastic (which is what you need for two little boys.) Sadly the grill was a very lightweight, almost see through plastic. I need to stick to my guns in the future and only buy Little Tikes, their products just seem to wear and hold up so much better than most other brands. The Melissa and Doug sets are great too, but when you're comparing the two side by side for 1-3 year olds, it's better to go with the plastic over the wood to prevent any accidents when kids excitedly chuck toys up in the air, or at each other. Also, I've noticed most kids love to mimic the things you do, so if you and your family grill a lot, or prep food in the kitchen, they'll love to show you how they can do the same with this set. :)

I bought these to go along with a play kitchen I got for my son. Great quality for the price, they have held up well so far.

Product was awesome , exactly as shown. Disappointed with how the product has shown up , box was damp and falling apart.

We got them the bbq and this extra pack for Xmas and it gets played with every single day since then. I am so happy with this. I enjoy getting my bbq meals. My kids 1 and 2 love it

This is an awesome toy. A bit expensive but great variety, my kid loves it.
