Excellent!
I usually by Rancho Gordo beans, but they were out of black chickpeas. These are excellent quality. A little nuttier in flavor than regular chickpeas. I’ve made a beautiful black hummus, added them to salads, and a kind of cool, elevated falafel. Tasty , high quality and a nice dramatic twist to a staple.great fund! Thank you!

So Yummy!
First time buying and trying these and I'm impressed. Word of caution: Do not cook the whole bag at once to save time. Should you decide to anyway, beans that are soaked, rinsed, stored and dried can be frozen and ready to go when thawed for your next recipe. I added some of the first round to butternut squash soup. The rest will be sauted with onions, peppers and spices to go over we quinoi for mock beans and rice.

Delicious + versatile
Once I got the hang of cooking them (they take longer than than light colored garbanzo beans, I became a huge fan. Made a deliciously nutty and rich tasting black hummus, along with black sesame seeds. My favorite hot dish is sauteeing them with arugula and a little butter.

Wonderful for hummus!
These made a wonderful hummus and I can't wait to try the "Cowboy Caviar" recipe. It would be great to take to a party for something different. I will definitely purchase these again and I look forward to trying their other products!

Soak beans yesterday.
Tasty beans. Have a nice bite to them. Soaked them a full day then put them in a slow cooker for a curry. Might try sprouting them later. Will probably buy these again.

Tough skins!
I soaked them a little over 24 hours, then pressure-cooked for a full 60 minutes (most beans only take 30 to 45 minutes in the pressure cooker). Still tough, and flavor is nothing special. Definitely not worth the price!
