Sword Art Online 17 (light novel): Alicization Awakening Paperback – Illustrated, October 29, 2019

Just when I was beginning to grow tired of the A.L.I.C.E. arc, he pulls me right back in. While Progressive is doing a great job fleshing out and reimagining the original series, this continuation of the mainline of SAO continues to hit new highs and explore the unexplored. Great read for any SAO fan.

I have been reading the SAO series since I was introduced to it a few years ago. It is still by far one of my favorites. Definitely a great series to have in your library. 👍🏻

I have not read any of these books. They were purchased for my son and he thoroughly enjoys reading them.

Great book and finally get to see more of the gang step up when things get dire! Has that SoA feel again!

I'll start by saying this was still a fantastic addition to the series. That being said, it was VERY jumpy. At some points it felt like every page started a new scene and these scenes went back and forth between 6 or more characters. It made it hard to keep track of what was happening with who, cause we weren't able to spend more than a page or so with each at a time.At one point, I put the book down because of this and it took me months to go back and finish it.However, there were fantastic moments for several key characters and plenty of good story, so I still suggest reading it if you've made it this far in the series. Can't wait to see what's next!

This part of the book was amazing reading about Sinon and Leafa in the rest of the underworld with their super accounts, the battles where really deep with each character. How they all come together for the common good for of the many people that live in the Underworld as well as the Japanese, Korean and American players that are fighting in the underworld!Thank you again Reki for all the effort you put in to this SAO world and I look forward to the next book which I think comes out 7th January !Oh and play the way I loved the cover of the book with Sinon and Leafa with Kirito in the background that much, I made it in to a phone case for my phone. So I can never forget how much I love the story and the world of SAO! (Hope you don't mind lol)

Great reading... But it went too short for me after the long waiting! Just expecting Vol. 18 to be out and read the conclusion for this Story arc!!! Not really a spoiler, but I shed some tears along the last quarter of the book...
