Good value for light duty use
The design, features and comfort are comparable to more expensive chairs of this type, but the materials are lower quality.Opening and assembly: The first chair that I received had a crack along the edge of the plastic housing that forms the underside of the seat. From this I could tell that that the quality of plastic is not great - feels kinda like recycled milk jug plastic, a bit thin, not as sturdy and stiff as you get in a more expensive chair. They sent a replacement chair that arrived in 2 days (had to return the first one at my own expense, fortunately I was able to drop it at an Amazon shipping/receiving location). Assembly probably took about an hour all in. It uses four different sizes of screws & washers, and they're not marked/numbered, so I had to measure the screws to match them up to the assembly diagram. The diagram is just a 'cartoon' sequence of diagrams in fairly small print.Quality: The fabric on the seat pad feels nice to the touch but is rather lightweight, and the foam cushioning in the seat is not very dense. There were a few small, superficial flaws on the surface of the plastic armrest and seat housing. General impressions: The chair is pretty light and easy to lift/move. Overall, a good chair if you only expect to use it "part time". I work from home maybe one day every few weeks, so it should be fine for me. If I had to use this chair all day, every day for work, I think the seat would be worn out in year or two, and the plastic parts - who knows. The metal parts like the pedestal rod and the pivot assembly seem to be solidly built. To modify on the comment in the previous review, the lumbar support CAN be adjusted a little bit, about a 2 inch range of up/down positioning. The seat height reaches just high enough to put me in good ergonomic typing position for my Ikea corner desk. The back angle supports good posture.

Fairly comfortable, decent quality for the price.
All in all it's a pretty decent chair for the price. Good build quality and sturdy construction. Seems to be holding up well. Lumbar support isn't all that comfortable as it protrudes out a little far for my liking and isn't adjustable. However, the arms have huge range of adjustment up or down which is nice as I was specifically looking for a chair where the arms can get very tall (most chairs don't) and this delivers.
