Briggs & Stratton 100117 Fuel Treatment & Stabilizer Replaces 100117, 100121

I add this to my 5gal fuel container every time I fill it up and use it to fuel my riding mower and pressure washer. Does this really work and do what it claims to do?? I can honestly say "I don't know". Both pieces of equipment are fairly new and seem to run the same with or without this additive. Will I be able to tell the long term effects?? Probably not. Will I continue to use it?? YES!!!!!!! I figure that its cheap insurance and its inexpensive enough ($12/year) that I dont mind.

I have used this product before and find it to work very well as a fuel stabilizer. I winterize my lawn mowers and lawn tractor with it and also store gasoline in my shed. I does what you would expect from this type of product. Note: Make sure that you have updated your gas storage can as older gas cans can explode.

I'd give this 5 stars but I received it unopened with close to 1/2 ounce less stabilizer than what was stated. That's 2.5 gallons of fuel that I can't stabilize. Maybe their dispensing equipment needs recalibrated or somehow it evaporated??

I've been using B&S fuel treatments for years. I'll buy 4 or 5 gallons of gas at a time, use this product at the time of purchase, the fuel has stayed fresh throughout the mowing season. Gas I buy in the Autumn will still be usable through winter (for the snow blower) and again in Spring for lawn mowing. I haven't had any engine or carburetor problems since I've been using it. I recommend it.

I had a full tank of gas in my Briggs & Stratton generator for over a year before adding the treatment it would keep stalling and shutting down. When I added the treatment it took about 1/2 hour before I noticed a big difference it is now running so this treatment & stabillizer not only prevents problems it cleans up bad fuel so you can run your machine. I was amazed that it could do that I thought for sure I would have to empty a full tank of gas. I now use it on my lawn mower and my echo trimmer and leave blower they all run better now because of using this product. I love it!

I'm sure I over used this product but the gas in my mower carbonator is old so I ended up using the entire bottle. The mower worked like a charm yesterday after changing the filter too. It's a great additive

It was a bit helpful for my push mower but didn't help my generator. (had to get a new carb)

Bought an old Craftsman mower on craigslist and promptly gave it a tuneup - new air filter, new spark plugs, and this fuel treatment. It was blowing white smoke before, and after it was running like new! Very efficient, clean, and powerful.Also, you can't go wrong with the value! Such a small expense to protect an expensive mower!

Used in my snowblower gas tank for the summer storage. Took blower ouit last week and it started first time.
