Installation: The aperture is smaller than the actual 0.02mm. According to the high frequency heating, thermal expansion and contraction principle, to expand the hole, then insert the spindle and lock it, and then fix the shaft collet after cooling completely.

Satisfied with quality, the 3000 mw allows for pretty quick turnaround
Machine arrived in good shape. Screw on the eye protection and it’s basically ready to go. The operating instructions were not very good, but, after many practice runs I’m finally getting it down. The engraving quality is good. I do pens. The round pen body offers no problem. I am pleased with the quality.

Good hobby engraver easy to use.
Works out of the box, just install the drivers, run the software, drag an image from the picture folder and size it to your liking. You can do frame positioning to see where it will work and then click start.Took minutes to setup and almost no time for the small image about 2 minutes and the large one almost filled up the full working area took 19 minutes.Definitely a good purchase for hobby use. It is limited to 30 minute runs on the laser head according to the manual but it may be all you need.

Easy to set up and use. Great quality engravings.
Used this to engrave on the back of wood projects and it was both simple and easy to add text and images. Easy to align and adjust depth. Will wait to see how long the head lasts.

It's under $200 ... and incredible for that price
The instructions were a bit confusing. The software is even more confusing. But spend an hour or so playing around with it and you'll figure it out. There are kinks in the software you need to discover, but once you get it working it's great. I engraved a leather wallet and leather book, some pieces of wood, and some painted metal. It did everything I needed it to.Everyone who is giving bad reviews... IT'S $160!!! Are you expecting it to work like a $10,000 machine? It works incredible for its price range.

Pretty Decent Product
This product pretty much does exactly what you’d expect. It does produce a quality engraving on wood pieces, however, it would be nice if the engraving size could be bigger (it can engrave a roughly 3”x3” image). One small gripe, is that the software that comes with the product does not fully coincide with the instructional manual (it seems like the version of the program in the instruction manual is different than the actual program that comes on the usb drive). Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase.

Problem with software.
Never able to use it. Problem with software. Showed multiple errors. Laser malfunctioned with random movements. Return was easy. Interesting I ordered a different brand, looked the same but black. Had exactly the same manual and software. I love it. Have done 50 projects....wood, leather, plastic. Everyone wants their junk engraved now. Lol

Returned but Nice Good Design
Great Design Good Idea for very small itemGood For small stuff that why i return this item because when i say small , it is very smallthe program is hard to use when you use text , but when you use image to engrave

Not as fast as I wanted it to be.
I bought the laser to print small logos on leather but after using it I found out that it takes way too long to finish a project. If you are not in a hurry to print a small project it seems to do ok. It is a lot slower than I anticipated it to be. I tried printing something larger but it stops before finishing.
