Artway Enviro - Casebound A4 Sketchbook – Landscape - 92 Sides/46 Pages of Recycled 170gsm Cartridge Paper – 100% Recycled Sketchbook, White

I have been using this Artway Enviro sketchbook for the last few months and it is great - the cover is butch enough to survive the abuse of being knocked around in a bag and the general abuse of artists, and the binding hasn't parted ways unlike my lovely Seawhite A4 which I had to tape together after a year, the binding was so bad.Seems a lot of art materials are designed for hobbyists and dainty gentle types, not for artists who will switch media and abuse the materials as part of the process, loads of water and ink etc. and work in acrylic and collage. This seems to be built for actual artists.Paper is great - I have used Artway cartridge paper in the past and it is recycled but not beige or grey, it is a good white ivory colour like the Seawhite - and 170gsm it is thick enough not to bleed through if you use watercolour, ink and mixed media. It has a slight tooth.This can lay pretty flat, as well because of the binding, which if you are scanning is a big plus.Cons - minor but unlike the Seawhite the paper is smaller than A4, which is fine by me as it is easier to scan but I liked the size of the Seawhite pad.

Hands down the best sketchbook I've bought for quite some time, usually I just buy paper I like and make my own but that comes with it's own issues, prior to that I was spending considerable money on other branded sketchbooks.A friend had one of these in A5 portrait and I was happy with the quality so I purchased the A4 Landscape as I work across double pages.Working mainly with inks and some light watercolour I found the pages extremely resistant to bleeding, though water will likely wrinkle the other side slightly if you use it heavily.The pages overall are beautifully smooth but not to the point where it feels like you're sketching on glass. A slight off white colour is also appreciated. They open flat aswell which suits my style of working across the 2 sides for panoramic images.I love the cover it feels rustic and robust and has already taken alot of bumps and knocks and it's still going strong.ArtWay has done a great job with this.I highly recommend it and I will continue to use these for the foreseeable future.

I am using this for my personal investigation at the minute and it has held up nicely with watercolours so far (no bleeding) and absolutely love that this is landscape, which was really hard to find and even better, the brand is environmentally conscious, which is very important to me. I have included my first artist research page within this review just to show how its held up, I've also attached a lot of samples to this and the paper has not ripped at all so very impressed.Holly :)

Loved this casebound sketchbook and would have given 5 stars but for it being only 170 gsm the pages aren't really suitable for sharpie markers which I was using a lot to do convenient and quick art inspired by Helen Wells. I ended up glueing envelopes or pieces of colouring book designs to each page to ensure that the marker wouldn't bleed through. I ended up with a very chunky book and am pleased to say that the spine is still holding up. Whilst Artway do make books that are a thicker paper for water colour etc unfortunately they are spiral bound and therefore not suitable for designs that cover both pages that I prefer. Am trying the Fabriano Venezia that Helen Wells uses but that is double the price and I do love this Artway Enviro. Common guys, please make a casebound like this that is 200 250 or 300 gsm....

I am very pleased with this pad of paper and I will buy again from this company. I like that they are eco-friendly. Definitely the icing on the cake. :)

Great. Using as a scrap book all the pages are lovely and thick

I bought this on a whim just wanted to try some different sketch books and now I refuse to use anything else for sketching and planning artwork the paper is thick and so nice to draw on and when you open it it lays flat so you can do a double page spread. The binding on the book is so sturdy and doesn't feel flimsy which I've found with other hard back books after a while the spine gets loose or broken, plus the cover looks really nice

Great quality book for both art and scrapbooking. My children are using these books for their arts awards. They are perfect to showcase their creative journey.

Comprato per costruirci album fotografici. Io disegno pressochè con ogni tecnica, ma stavolta volevo comporre libri fotografici da arricchire con decorazioni, adesivi, scritte, e chi più ne ha più ne metta. Ebbene, questo articolo l'ho comprato ad agosto 2023, e a dicembre ne ho preso un altro: viene un libro fantastico, le penne ad inchiostro liquido non trapassano, il peso di (tante!) foto non mettono nemmeno in difficoltà la tenuta delle rilegature, non crea lo spiacevole effetto di altri scrapbooking di gonfiarsi inesorabilmente perche tiene cmq la forma di un libro ben fatto...Insomma, è ottimo sia per disegnarci intensivamente, sia per incollarci ricordi altrettanto intensivamente! Venditore ECCEZIONALE, prodotti di ALTA QUALITÀ, per pressochè ogni utilizzo decorativo. Carta bella.

Se identifica totalmente con las imágenes, vienen bastantes hojas y además son de una calidad superior a un folio, digamos que cuentan con más grosor. Muy contento con la compra
