This product looks great, but is reclaimed so it can be a bit finicky working with. For those looking to have a “rustic” looking product you will need to take extra steps to ensure that it doesn’t break apart and account for the fact that you may have some odd holes from nails and screws to deal with.Out of the box I got 6 boards I was looking to use to make a simple clock: 2 of them were perfect just some small knots, 1 board snapped in half with minimal pressure pulling it out of the package, 3 had larger holes from screws/nails, and 4/6 had splits along the edges that simply would not hold up without some extra care.If you’re buying these I would invest in materials that can seal and even bond the boards together to not completely rely on the quality of the wood itself. It’s the real deal, the look is great, but for some it may be a bit more than they want to take on. This could be a luck of the draw in terms of what you get with each order and while I had the necessary tools and materials to make the project happen others may not be so lucky.TLDR; Great looking product but each board is unique. Make sure you have the tools and materials handy so it doesn’t break apart when working with it.

First of all, if you're looking for perfect wood planks then this probably isn't for you. Some planks had holes from nails and a few sections that were splintering from use.This is reclaimed wood. Of course there's going to be some wear and tear.I painted (acrylics) and sanded mine to make a sort of rectangular pot. All its imperfections give it character. Sanding it brought out the grooves that were sort of lost when painting it and gave it a more rustic look. Even if you're not painting yours, it might be worth sanding down the pieces just to make sure you don't get any splinters.

Boards are beautiful!

The boards might be Old Wood but all 6 /18" boards are stained. I purchased these boards to make bird feeders but they can't be used for that because of the stain.Don't call it Weathered Reclaimed Wood if you're staining it to make it look Weathered!

This barnwood was just what I was looking for to make my vision for this wall in our house become a reality! Worked perfectly! Love it! It truly is just old barnwood, so if that is what you want, this is the perfect thing to get!

Perfect for a picture frame project. Are there nail holes - yes. Is there color variation - yes. Is some wood more distressed than others - yes. Did I get a free cobweb - yes. BECAUSE ITS BARN WOOD! That is part of the charm, each piece is unique. Very pleased and exactly what I was looking for.

If you are looking to put a decal on the wood, I would not recommend, paint instead. Very rustic looking and nice though
