The Chronological Gospels, Larger Print Edition

Extremely well done. A lot of information to process. Most interesting fact was that the actual time period of the gospels was only about 70 weeks. Well worth the money. All kind of information to Christians as well as the Messianics. Well worth it to both groups. Kathy Santi

I gave it a quick read and have not dug deep yet. Rood's timeline is controversial. He claims that the standard 3 ½ year timeline was set (by Eusebius) and the translations/interpretation of the gospels were manipulated to meet that timeline. I wanted a synchronized timeline of Jesus’ ministry. I enjoy the Jewish and period context Rood provides (e.g. High Sabbaths) and messianic insights. I’m not sure that I care if it was 70 weeks or 3 ½ years but it’s helping me get an idea of the sequence of events in Jesus’ life on earth. I will read this with other books (e.g. Mark Moore) that try to harmonize the gospels (and will not come to a definitive conclusion either way but that’s not my intent).

I have the earlier edition. Because Rebecca Garvin[of Teshuva Ministries out of Cour D'Lene, Idaho]read about the birth of Yeshua from this larger print version. I bought it. It has a lot of info Christianity just plain out ignore.

So easy to read, use it for Bible study, wonderful book.

This is an amazing bible with so much clarity. Anyone who has come to the realization that the Torah is not "done away with" like so many have been taught, will absolutely love this bible!

Great resource but still in reading it.

I am learning more about the Bible and what it all means for all of us, Jew AND Gentile.

A book given to us, not in haste but with an understanding for the teachings.God bless us all. 😇
