Furby Boom Figure (Straight Stripes)

I purchased this and found this to be very cute. I was a little worried about getting one as a friend of mine got one for her granddaughter and found that it would not stop talking. I got this and put in some batteries and started to worry what would happen. I found this worked very well. The little guy was talking some English and some furbish. I could sing and it would dance. I then thought about seeing if this would work with some cheap tablet that I purchased a few months ago. I had no idea if that was going to work but then it did. I was amazed how well this little guy worked with the cheap and I mean cheap tablet. The only drawback on using the tablet is it has to be so close to him it is hard to make him go potty. I found that all the stuff that can be done using him alone and with the tablet is awesome. If you have some little ones that would like this type of stuff then I say warn them before hand that the voice does change and can be a little scary. I find that his changes are just like people. Everybody is not the same every day all day long. I would purchase again if the price drops a little. I have two of them and they are cute as they do learn each others name. I like how this one says to the other and calls by name - I have not seen you for awhile. I can not recall the name of this or the other but one is snowflake and the other is big daddy. Bottom line very cute and a riot to watch and using batteries at a good clip. To help with the cost of batteries then purchase some rechargeable ones and have some already waiting and all is good.

I purchased this furby for my sister Christmas of 2013. It came and she was ecstatic. The screws required a tiny screwdriver so we had to search to find the screw. Since this is the new furby it works with the “Furby Boom” app on apple products. If you don’t have this app, the furby will prove to be somewhat ‘boring’ to your child. The furby loves to talk and sing and dances when it hears music. (This works well for children in the car.) The package comes with an instructional manual to tell you how to set the ‘personality’ of your furby; my sister’s is set to hyper. (p.s. they are so cute when you tickle them.)After a while of hearing “Ah-Bay” (its name), we had the task of turning it off. IT CAN TURN OFF. You have to hold its tail until it begins to snore and fall asleep. But be careful, because a touch or loud noise will wake it out of its peaceful slumber. Overall, She has enjoyed it thus far especially with the App and the responsibility the child has bestowed upon them with the App. With the App your child can raise eggs, hatch them, care for “furblings”, feed, wash, and play with their furby as well. I think this makes for a great way for kids to learn the beginning stages of responsibility and enjoy their toy.Overall, I would give this product a rating of 5/5 stars. My sister enjoys it and has fun with “ah-bay.” The furby has good battery life, is energetic, and with the “Furby Boom” App makes taking care of this little critter lots of fun! If you are looking for a fun toy for a young child, this is for you! It is now April and furby is still working great!

I would recommend this product for anyone who wants a pet and doesn't have one. It is cute and talks to you. The more English you speak, the more English it learns. The apps are totally fun to use with your furby. I am a kid and furby is one of my BFFs!!! If there is another furby nearby, your furby will talk to it. Great product!!!

Product works very well, great package, nice quality. I bought this to my daugher. She loves it. I made some experiments whit this toy. I put this furby to listen rock music and a few minutes after,its personality changes, from child female sweet voice to a male child voice. And I was worried about this, because my daugher doesn't like it. Then I search some information at internet sites and I found the solution for getting its sweet voice and personality again. All you have to do is petting/rubbing for a few minutes thats it. You can find many information at the oficial site about you can handle furbys personalities. I recomend the parents read well all the instructions about this toy to the playing experience be the best. Itis a nice toy.

amazon sent me an email for this deal that they were less than half off regular price in the stores for one day and i jumped at it! bought 2 for the girls for less than the price of one in a store! they love them. work great, learn alot and great fun for them. annoying for parents though but worth it. my only complaint is occasionally they just stop working and i have to take the battery cover off and hit the refresh button and theyre back to normal. its only a pain because of the tiny screws you have to undo each time thats a lil time consuming. other than that, very satisfied.

This little furby is extremely expensive, and says some pretty crude things! We bought it for our 8 year old for Christmas, and I can't believe some of the suggestive, inappropriate things that it says. Also, it doesn't shut up. There isn't an off/on button on this thing, so it continually talks. We put a blanket over it's head, closed it in a dark bedroom, shut it back in the box.... Nope, still kept talking. We downloaded the furby app on my daughter's tablet, and it still would not interact with it. Battery life stinks, and the Energizer Max batteries that we purchased specifically for this were completely drained in less than 3 days. Needless to say when the batteries died, we took them out and left it. My daughter doesn't even want us to put new ones in, she hates this toy. What a waste of our time and money.

This furby is fun and cute at first...then it never quits. My 5 year old played with it only 1 day before she started putting it inside drawers and under beds so it would stay asleep. We even joke about being extra quiet so we don't "wake up the furby". I don't know if all the furbys have the same voice and annoying nature butthis one sadly is way too obnoxious . Its too bad because it looks very cute.
