Events of 1939: news for every day of the year

Neat gift but cake bent. I don’t have time to return it because of time but it is still a nice little extra to add to a gift package.

Small gift for my grandma's 80th birthday. She loved all the cool headlines that happened the year she was born.The book itself is very small. I would estimate about 50 pages and it just has one major headline from each day of the year. I was honestly expecting a little bit more but since my grandma loved it, I rated it 5 stars.

Birthday gift. It was great and we learned things that we didn't know about 1939. It was interesting and well written.

A great idea for a person who was born in 1939 but of course would not remember that year. So this book tells you lots of things that occurred on each day of the year. I am giving this to my Aunt for her 80th birthday quite soon. Another good gift from Amazon.
