A Beginners Review
So I am writing this review coming in as a complete beginner to records and record players. I am no audio expert, but I do have a good ear for music and can tell good quality from bad quality. I definitely appreciate good sounding music but I didn't want to spend a ton of money without knowing how much I would like it. I bought this record player based off of all the good reviews and it seemed like the best record player for the price. Of course, amazons shipping is amazing. Arrived in two days. Opening it up, it looks great. It isn't heavy but it is well built. As long as you take care of things, it seems like it will last for years. I really liked that the dust cover comes off. It slides on and off really easily and if you take it off right away, it makes the rest of the assembly easier. The directions are easy to read and the whole thing took about 10 minutes to put together. It took me a little longer because I had a hard time getting the turntable band on the spindle. It comes with a ribbon taped to the platter. That is there to help get the band on the spindle. I didn't realize this and just ripped it off, so it took me a little longer to do but still was very simple. For some reason I thought this had speakers in it. Just know that there are no built in speakers. You need to have something to plug it into. Luckily I had a soundbar laying around that I could use until I get my reciever and speakers. It has av output (red and white audio plugs) that are physically attached to the turntable. The only issue is that the cables are extremely short. Its not a huge deal because they are easy to extend. If the turntable is plugged Into anything that doesn't say phono then make sure Tue switch on the back is on line. It will be extremely quite if you don't have it on the right settings. Playing a vinyl is extremely simple. Just put your record on, set the size of your record, set the speed, and hit play. The arm moves itself and it will utomatically play. There is no fast forward or rewind like some other players have, but I like that. It will somewhat force me to listen to my albums all the way through. It does have a pause/resume button and stop. Overall this is a great record player especially if you're just starting out and want to see how you like it without killing your wallet. I did buy the AUDIO TECHNICA ATN3600L Replacement Stylus for The AT3600L replacement stylus. I would recommend buying that as well because the difference is huge. The stylus that comes with this turntable is good and the music still sounds great, but the simple replacement of the stylus takes it to another level. Overall I would definitely recommend this turntable to anyone who wants to get into listening to vinyls or anyone for that matter. Its a great buy for the price.

Great value, entry level turntable
I've had this turntable for 18 months now, and if it broke today I would still think I got a fantastic value for the $99 that I paid... And it's still working as good as it did the day I received it.When I bought this, I was starting to build a nice audiophile-on-a-budget stereo system, and didn't yet have a high end receiver, so the built-in pre-amp was a necessity. I used to use it in the line-in port of a small shelf unit and it worked very well. The volume was much lower than all the other inputs, but it was fine for a my needs. Now that I have it on a receiver with its own pre-amp and I'm not using the built-in one on the turntable, I'm getting much better sound out of it.For a first time turntable, this was perfect for me. It was easy to assemble, basically just looping a rubber band. It came with all the parts I needed. And It's easy to use, it has simple start and stop buttons for those afraid to set the needle down (but it will let you manually set the needle, too, if you so desire)18 months later I've done a lot of research and learned a lot about stereo equipment and have built a much better hi-fi system. I think I've finally outgrown this turntable, and this is why: the needle doesn't last very long, and it cannot be replaced with better quality ones; the arm is very lightweight and will move (and scratch your record!) with little vibration, I scratched a favourite record by closing the lid! If I look at the record while it's spinning, it appears warped, even with new records, I think it's imperfections with the platter itself, this creates uneven pressure of the needle against the record, and since the tone arm isn't weighted or adjustable, there's nothing I can do about it. And I don't know whether it's the uneven needle pressure or a fluctuation in the belt drive speed, but I do hear tone fluctuations. So for these reasons I'm now looking into a higher end turntable with a heavier, adjustable arm, and a direct drive platter.I share this because when I was first looking into this turntable, I had no idea why the more expensive ones are better, but now I do. So if the reasons for my upgrade make sense to you, I would suggest skipping this entry level model and getting a better one. But if they don't matter, then you will find a fantastic value in this LP60 turntable.Despite the fact that I'm ready to upgrade, I've been very happy with this turntable for 18 months, it still works perfectly, and it was only $99!!!!!!! You can't go wrong with this as a first or budget turntable.

Good Enough to play old collection of LPs.
As far as the performance is concerned, sound quality is OK with noise cancellation built in, however bass is missing. Plays old scratched records also without skipping tracks. Plastic used for body and cover looks flimsy and so do the switches. Costwise looks over priced.

Elegante y funcional
