As others mentioned, you have to bend the bracket that holds the battery just a bit but can be done without tools. The side connections on the posts is a plus for accessories. Battery came with a test slip dated the date before I got it so you know it's good to go upon install. This is a great choice for your Slingshot (rear mounted battery models).

Battery did not fit exactly. Had to bend top of battery holder which was no problem. Then it slid right in with no problems. I am satisfied for the price.

The factory battery in my 2016 1/2 Slingshot SL LE finally died after 4 yrs of use. Looking for a replacement battery was difficult because most batteries had a lower Cold Cranking Amps rating than the factory 400 CCA. When I found this battery with 600 CCA and it was listed as a replacement for the factory battery I became very interested even though it was not a name brand battery. The reviews of it being a little larger than the original battery and the mounting bracket not fitting worried me a little but it was worth a try. I ordered the battery on Sunday, November 15, 2020 and received it on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, 5 days ahead of when it said it was going to be delivered. I liked the connecting brackets on the terminal because they are threaded and you don't have to try and connect the loose nut under the terminal. There is limited space to install the slingshot battery and not having to mess with the little nut to connect the wires was nice. The batter is a little wider than the factory battery but I bent up one side of the battery mounting bracket and the bolt holes lined up and tightened down just fine. The battery was fully charged and they provided a printout showing that the battery passed testing on November 16, 2020 before it was shipped out. Now to test the battery to see if it holds up and lasts as long as the factory battery did.

Was leaning towards optima batteries. But this 600cca and pretty much OEM fitment I did have to hammer and flatten the oem battery bracket to fit. No big deal. .

The battery was just a little bit larger than the original, but fit in nicely. I loved the connecting brackets on the terminals, first I had ever seen them like this, which makes me think that I will be coming back when I am in need of a replacement in the future. Got it installed and it fired up my Slingshot with no problems what so ever. This gives me much peace of mind for the remaining riding season.

The mounting bracket would not fit the new battery.

Bought it for my slingshot. came faster than advertised and it worked for me.

Do not buy for 2019. The Slingshot has a custom battery harness that does not fit with this battery.
