Works as described
As far as off-brand mp3 players go, this one is definite;y not bad. The color is just as described and the buttons are all functional. Biggest concern for me is that the up button and the MENU button seem to be switched around, so you'll have to get used to pushing the "wrong" button to move forward. Other than that, this is a fine player. These style ones are great because it's a simple matter of plug/play to transfer media to and fro between your device and a tablet/PC/laptop/etc. My other concern is that mine appeared to be used; it had a few scratches against the frame and a couple of knicks on it. They aren't major, but this is clearly not new, which is what I wanted. The included headphones are quite cheap, so they immediately became "least resort" options. Other than that, this does what it needs to do. The included space is pretty generous for the price and this would probably be best as a backup device or a gift for younger children or teens.

It's alright, what I'm using for.
So, I just got this in today. It came in nice, sorry I didn't take a picture of that I just wanted to rush & put music on it already so, I can do homework/clean the house. After when I've plugged into my desktop, I've noticed things are not going so well. . .of the bat. The USB B cable was being flatly... .un-plugging it's self & re-plugging back in... .I'm glad I have cables laying around the house that I can use. The SDcard was a HUGE issue though. It says is a 16GB but it wasn't it came out to be a 14GB then it reformated itself to FAT32, when I tried it wouldn't let me do that even with diskmgmt. When I took it out of the MP4 player, I notice it was a fake one right of the bat reason why it was giving me that issues but I had my own so, I've put it in works out just fine. Other than the issues, It's nice sounding, I like the headphones it came with that's it.

horrible in every way.
Don't even consider wasting your money on this junk. Even after reading reviews I thought I'd take a chance. Very soon after I received it I instantly realized how bad it sucked, but I was being optimistic, trying to just focus on the few positives (i just didn't want to believe I wasted $20 on this junk). But no, now I'm just fed up and annoyed. The controls don't make much sense, you can't browse through songs if anything is playing, organizing songs in a playlist (or even the playlists themselves) is extremely annoying and impossible. Trying to operate the thing is a puzzle, so even though it doesn't have any password locking, at least you don't need to worry too much cuz no one will ever be able to figure out how to search through anything. Too many times the wacky controls keep making me almost delete songs. And don't forget to exit out of the volume control or else next song won't play or the current one won't repeat (if you have repeat on). The battery is weird- even though when you charge it and use it, it will last a very long time, but if you charge it and not even use it for the day, tomorrow it'll be dead and drained. It's like whether you use it or not, it's just gonna be dead by tomorrow. The text reading on this is awful. it looks horrible, it controls horribly. I hate it so much.Even though I had this thing for about a year, I never really used it too much and it still fell apart- the charging port is even broken. It's not like I was even rough with it eitherThere's just so much wrong with this. All I wanted was something inexpensive and simple to listen to calming audio while I slept and worked, but this isn't even worth it and it can barely do basics properly. I would have been better off spending more money elsewhereTrust me, don't even give this a chance like I did, you'll just get mad

looks good online
Not so good when it gets to your hand. The plastic controls and buttons are extremely low quality and the interface is very poor. Worse, common functions don't work the way they do on better devices: I was hoping to load a music collection & just turn it on for random playback, or even a continued sequential playback, but each time it's turned on the same first track plays and any settings for random play have been reset. So apparently you have to deal with navigating some very unintuitive menus every time you use it.

NOT INTUITIVE
I was looking for an easy-to-use MP3 player to provide music for group fitness classes, so the most important features to me are 1) easy to load playlists and 2) easy to navigate. This MP3 player is NEITHER. The player itself feels like it might break if a strong wind blows. The display is very small and not at all intuitive for getting from menu to menu. Most importantly, it will not play pre-selected playlists - I had to copy and paste each individual file. I'm really regretting this purchase.

Thumbs down
The horrific user interface kills what would otherwise be a good product at this price point

Cheap in many ways
The only thing I really want my MP3 player to do is save my spot. Big podcast listener and do not want to start over or have to remember where I was. It's also cheap plastic, not user friendly for volume control. Would NOT buy this again and will just trash it when I purchase another
