NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH BUTTERFINGERS.Does not protect the screen at all. Most likely your screen will crack. Also the case is quite slippery as well so it will not help you at all if you’re clumsy.Its strong and durable. It is worth the money. However, THIS CASE IS MOSTLY FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR STYLE INSTEAD OF PROTECTION.Overall,Good case for style. Bad case for protection. And I know my phone cases, since i stupidly waste money on about 5 different cases each month and trying each one out for couple of days.

This is a nice case and since it was real wood I was able to burn a design in it to my liking for an unusual piece of artwork that I can carry every day.

I wanted a wooden case for my new iPhone and loved the look of this case. As other reviews mentioned, the top and bottom of the phone are exposed with this case. It seemed like it would do very little to protect my phone from a fall, so I returned it because I didn't want to take any chances. Especially because the case offers no grip, so it's even more prone to being dropped. It was also very difficult to apply and remove - it felt like it was going to break while trying to take it off.

UPDATE: Received my new replacement case last week - and I absolutely love it! It is unique and a good looking case - good quality! Thanks again to the Seller for his help and excellent Customer Service!I loved this case online - so sleek and pretty, but when I received it, I realized that I am a girl that needs something with a bumper case around the phone! After replacing a phone screen this year for $325., I couldn't afford to replace another one, so probably not the best case for me, with it's more 'open' design. After I returned it, I received a message from iATO's Customer Service, offering me a replacement case! Unbelievable customer experience, especially these days! I was very appreciative of their offer to try another case (with a bumper!) for free! I will definitely come back and add to my review, once I receive the new case. Transactions like this will make me a customer for life! Thank you, iATO! :)

I have a bamboo case that looks almost identical. It was worn out so I purchased this one as a replacement. I thought it was the same brand but turns out this one is a little different. It doesn’t feel quite as durable as my original one, like the material is thinner. So far it has no problems but I’m expecting that it won’t last quite as long. Looks very nice overall and feels sleek with a nice texture.

This reseller is totally deceptive - this product is not real wood. It is entirely plastic made to look like wood. I kept it because it’s a decent case but if you are really looking for wood stay away from this product and this reseller.

It pains me to give this case only four stars, but I cannot ignore the fact that this case does not protect the screen effectively.Other cases I have used have a small "lip" around the edge of the screen that keeps the phone slightly off of any surface when face-down. In a face-down fall, that lip (and the case) takes most of the fall, suspending the screen a small distance away from the ground.This case ends perfectly flat with the screen. The effect is aesthetically pleasing, as is the rest of the case; however, because of this precision, there is no cushion. I have already had to replace a screen protector because the phone fell face-down out of my pocket as I knelt. Other phone cases tolerate this specific situation much more heartily.However, this is the only case I know of which uses actual wood. I will continue using it for that reason.Also, wireless charging works perfectly in it.Overall, I enjoy this case, but I had to subtract a star. Don't drop your phone in this case; if it lands face-down, you may be in trouble.

The case looks good when you first get it, but it's hard plastic so the "wood look" on the back gets scratched and worn off around the edges. I noticed this a couple of weeks after I got it. Had it about a month now. It's cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Silver lining - it does seem to be fairly durable. I have dropped it a few times and the case stays on and my phone hasn't shattered yet. So there's that.

- This case looks amazing! I love the natural wooden look and feel it has.- However, as a phone case it does not provide that much protection for your phone.The front bezel has been the biggest concern for me.- It is not very thick and therefore if you were to drop your phone flat on its screen, there isn't a lot of space between your screen and the ground and therefore it’s more likely that your screen will get damaged.- The top and bottom of your phone will also be prone to chips/scratches as the case doesn't fully wrap around the phone.- The case does not interfere with any of the buttons, charging port or speakers.- Very light-weight as well, doesn’t make your phone feel like a brick

I'd leave a great review if it would cost half the price. You can find much better cases for extra few pounds without compromising on protectiveness or ergonomics - two key features of any case.Pros:Very nice touch and feel.Real wood and wood patterns.Some good protection for the phone (read further)Cons:Not 100% protection: Bottom and upper sides of the cover are exposed and do not offer good protection.Ergonomics: Left and right bottom edges are cut at 90 degrees which does not sit naturally in your hands.Very bulky: Not suitable for people with small hands or short fingers.Not created for iPhone Xs: while it fits excellently, you can see that the camera hole doesn't perfectly cover the camera. I first ordered a case from IATO a few years back for (I think), my iPhone 6.Having just gone for an XS Max, I was looking for a case that offered me protection for the inevitable moment when it falls out of my pocket when getting out of the car, but still looked a little different to the majority.I've always liked the wood cases, but the one from a few years ago left me a little underwhelmed - the wood part was far too thin and it almost felt like a skin ?I don't know if anyone else had this experience and fed it back, as this new case certainly doesn't feel the same way.The wood part feels solid and (yes I know it is !) like there is actually a piece of wood (probably a millimetre, maybe just under?) as part of the case. There is no mistaking this for a skin !The sides are coated in a rubber sort of finish that is smooth to the touch and lets the colour of the phone and the wood draw the eye.The corners are protected well, although as it is an open case, the bottom and top are exposed. Given the level of protection on the corners, you would have to be very unlucky to drop it in such a way that it hits the open areas first, but I guess this is a risk.It isn't a particularly bulky case, although it is quite rectangular in the hand so if you have small hands, this may be an issue. It probably isn't a case for someone with a particularly outdoorsy job, or someone who's phone is regularly dropped, but for me, working mainly in an office, i think it's ideal. Smart enough for work and different enough to make people ask questions about it on a night out.I'm also using it with a glass ESR screen protector and there are no issues there - The case is screen protector friendly ( don't remember seeing it advertised as such, but it is )!Overall, I'm really happy with my choice - so much so, I might look at one in a different wood next !

After reading the review I’d left above they emailed me with the offer of sending me a different cover that fulfilled all the things I’d wanted and wasn’t happy with from the first one. I like to wait a few months before writing reviews for durability testing sake.Having used this case daily for 6 months I can say safely say it’s quality in appearance and durability. The case fits the iPhone (x in my case) so well there is NO chance of the phone falling out. The finish I have is Walnut, it is real wood and is beautifully smooth and perfectly machined.The smooth finish doesn’t offer the best grip, I have dropped the phone a couple of times and there is only the smallest of dents to the hardwood.If you want Military grade protection and grip look elsewhere at the rubberised cases with big corners but if you want a case that adds minimal dimensions and looks classy then look no further.
