Excellent product and super easy to install.
I bought this for my aging mother. She was using a medical chair that sat over the toilet. With the width of the legs on the chair, the bathroom door was not able to close. This eliminates the legs extending to the floor and it attaches to the toilet instead of just sitting there which was a concern of mine. Once I received it, I saw that it attached and was easy to install. It is constructed of thick plastic material that has no problem of holding 250 pounds without deforming. I am heavier than my mother so I sat on it to ensure that if was going to fail, it would be with me. I really like the handles to give a little assistance.

Surprisingly nice!
I had to have my back surgery redone and I knew I needed a toilet seat adapter because I can’t bend or twist or lift (anything heavier than 1/2 gal of milk, so basically nothing) and last time I borrowed a friends from my last church. So I needed to get my own and didn’t have time to get insurance to do it since it was scheduled last min. So I found this one. I wasn’t too sure about it to be honest. But it was easy to install. I did have to remove both of lids from toilet (so one you normally sit on and the top closing lid) but that because I didn’t want top lid touching my back. But I will say to make it more sturdy leave the top lid on but in the up position. Mine is still sturdy even with it off, just tightened the knob in the front so it grips the front of the toilet base.I’ve used it for almost 2 weeks now and not once has it moved or slipped or rocked or nothing. My feet do NOT touch the ground and I’m 5’8”. Like I can stretch and make my tip toes touch. I will say have a footstool nearby so your feet can sit on that so your circulation in your legs don’t get off. I learned that a few days ago. I know have my hat box doing that and my legs feel better now because of that.So you do get lifted pretty high. Truly 5” for sure. It’s easy to clean too. First time using it I got iodine all over it. Just took a Clorox wipe and it came right off no problem. And iodine stains like a son of a $*+*%! But it came right off and has every single time until I could finally “bathe”.The seat itself isn’t so comfortable tho. It’s hard hard plastic with a texture feel to it. I guess so it has grip and people don’t slip since those using obviously aren’t in the best physical condition. But if you have to sit on for a Hot min, it’s not going to make a comfortable sitting experience in my opinion. That’s why I took a star away for that. They need to have some kind of padding on that seat man. Now the seat does feel like it’s shaped to fit your legs and bottom tho. And it feels like it has some curvature to it so you snugly fit on it. That’s good. Like you know you’re not going to slip on it or sit on it wrong, when you go down onto it. The handles are the whole width of the adapter and has nice PADDED (like their seat should be of some sort) arms. They are sturdy and have handled my weight pushing on them and not once have they buckled. I weigh 132lbs so I don’t know what the weight limit is for pressure being applied to it. But it held up to that with ease and I’m sure it would with way more than that with ease. It held my husbands when he tested it full force and he’s probably 180-190lbs.So overall I give it a thumbs up. Good purchase for sure.

Non weight bearing savior!
We have a potty that's short in stature. Never bothered me before, I'm only 5'2" and fun size too! Then I broke my ankle & tore some ligaments requiring reconstruction surgery. You're non weight bearing until the surgery, plus 8 weeks after. That's 9.5 weeks of relying on 1 leg and wall grip strength with my hands and it simply wasn't working. This has made it so easy to get up from the potty. You do have to stand to wipe effectively. Youre going tonwant to pay attention to the height the seat adds AND the size of the opening. Its on 1 of the images above a few slides in. It has a much smaller opening to allow for adequate weight distribution of the user. The instructions recommend checking the seat weekly for tightening. My husband checks nightly simply because it takes 2 seconds to do, and we don't want to shatter my ankle in the middle of the night. If you neglect simple maintenance, it will move/loosen naturally. If you keep up on maintenance it's a sturdy & solid fit.The handles are great for added support, and they're covered with a soft grip. The seat and handles are very easy to sanitize with a quick lysol wipe.I'd highly recommend this to anyone that needs it! Well worth the price for ensuring my new ankle gets a fair shot at healing properly.

Great
Got this for my 91 yr old father who can barely move. HIGHLY recommend it. Very well made and sturdy. The extra height and handles made all the difference in him being able to use the toilet or not at all. Takes 2 seconds to secure it to the toilet.

Very Dangerous Product!! Do not buy!!
I bought this for myself because I was having hip surgery.. I installed myself and I felt it was secure until I actually had to use it. In the middle of the night I went to the bathroom and when I sat on it it slid off to the right luckily but not luckily landing me on the floor! The toilet is next to the shower with very little room between the glass doors and the toilet. I could have crashed through those doors and gotten very badly hurt. As it was I am very bruised and sore from hitting the floor with my shoulder. I am 72 yrs old and I could have broken bones on top of a serious surgical procedure that I just got home from! This thing should be taken off the market before serious injuries occur to others! I want my money back and you are lucky I’mnot suing the inventor, the manufacturer, the seller, and Amazon for selling such an unsafe product!!!
