Perfect Fit For 2000 Camry LE
I recently replaced the factory-installed double DIN radio in my 2000 Toyota Camry LE with an aftermarket single DIN radio. A pocket kit such as this was strongly recommended for filling the open space that is left when a double DIN radio is replaced with a single DIN radio. Through an online search, I found this kit as well as a kit from another manufacturer. This kit provided mounting holes in all the correct locations for the mounting brackets that had been used to install the factory radio, and since mounting holes on the aftermarket radio were also compatible with the factory mounting brackets, installing the radio together with the pocket kit was very simple. Furthermore, the pocket fit easily and without any gap into the space it was supposed to fill. Although made of plastic, it is very sturdy and capable of holding any items I might wish to store in it. A potential problem is that it has a drain hole in the back. Thus any liquid that is spilled into the pocket will drain into the area behind the console and cleaning up such a spill would require removing the radio.

Works perfect!
I looked everywhere for a kit to install a radio in my husband's commuter car (1994 Toyota Camry). We bought the radio at Walmart and mistakenly assumed that they would have the parts to install the radio - WRONG! I was skeptical at first because this wasn't exactly a "kit" and it says for 1978-UP, but I used the factory brackets for mounting and it fit perfectly. No gaps, no filing to make it fit and the screws fit just fine - nice and tight not going anywhere. WorstBuy wanted $22 for a kit and another $22 for the wiring harness (which I also purchased from Amazon for $6.33 and worked great). Although it came with no instructions it was easy enough for a woman to figure out and install. HA HA. Took me about 30 minutes. So for $26 I got the Pocket kit, wiring harness and a Stieg Larssen book. Take that, WorstBuy!

Doesn't really fit but made it work.
Got this to install a 9" multimedia touchscreen radio on my son's 2003 Toyota Tundra. The radio is a single din so I would need this to take up the bottom gap of the radio. The kit requires you to use the factory mounting brackets and though it does fit to the factory bracket. The holes where you put the screw in to hole the pocket in place doesn't line up. Only 1 side of the hole line up and it takes a small screw. Had to dig around my spare screws bin to secure this in place. I made it to work. It's plastic and fits ok. Had to use a small piece of foam to take up the gap between the radio and the pocket itself. Though the pocket is well made. The application is rather limited and doesn't fit all Toyota vehicles. The price is fair but since it's from Amazon, not too many stereo shops have them in stock so it's more of a convenience than anything. Overall it got the job done and now I have a small pocket I can place my wallet under the radio.

perfect fit for my '99 4Runner, but could have been made larger to hold more
This was an easy install in place of the dead OEM multi-CD changer in my '99 4Runner. It's thick & solid and the mounting holes lined up perfectly with the brackets that held the CD changer. My only complaint is that there's plenty of space left around it and it could have been made both taller and deeper, providing more storage space at little extra cost. That said, it's better to have some new dash storage than none at all.

Ehhh..
This works, but it isn't the best one I've ever used. it was kind of a pain to install as the correct holes didn't line up exactly. for my application (toyota), one of the standoffs serves as a locating pin by fitting into one of the holes on the OEM bracket. Neither side of this pin fit exactly into the hole. It was close but i still ended up taking off a bit of material, which threw off my groove. It could definitely fit better, the pocket could easily be wider, and for some reason it came with a single screw. Either include enough screws to do the job, or don't include screws.

Looks very good and it is a perfect fit. No screws needed. It just pops into the Oem radio bracket. Secure and strong.*** I get a considerable amount of condensation inside the tray. I have front and rear A/C and they both work very good. Hopefully a little insulation on the tray will fix the issue. I do not wish to pay someone to pull the dash/ducting apart and replace the crumbling foam insulation. The condensation in the tray could cause some trouble if left alone. (99 Toyota Sienna) 95+ degrees in the shade outside. ** I also have a seam area on the dash that gets a lot of condensation.
