Comfortable for the full-figured face
I am a big guy with a very wide head and round face and I can never find eyeglasses that fit me comfortably and these do which is good since I was hoping they would.Obviously.Do you have a big fat face too? You can wear these and not have them squeeze your head. Hooray!

Works for wide faces ...
I like to "live" with a pair of reading glasses for a few days to see how they fit and feel, as well as making sure the strength works like it should. I had cataract surgery a few years ago, and I'm finding I need different strengths in reading glasses for different activities: working on the computer, reading, driving (reading the dials and gauges), and needlework (thread/lace crochet).I purchased these in the stronger strength (3.0) for my needlework, and so far, they're working fine.I have a rather wide face, and many of the less expensive readers are just too narrow. These fit great -- they're wide enough that there are no pinching or pressure points, and they stay in place on my nose. The strength matches a more expensive pair of 3.0x readers, so I'm confident in the accuracy of these. My only quibble is that they're a bit on the heavy side compared to plastic-frame readers. It's not uncomfortable, but it is noticeable. This is, I'm sure, due to the metal frames plus the thickness of the lenses. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but I thought it deserved mentioning.Overall, I'm really pleased with these. I've been using them daily for about 10 days and I've noticed no deterioration at all -- nothing is loose or feeling "flimsy."I may order another pair in a lower strength to use for reading.

Large is relative....
I have a big head, I mean almost size 8 round head. These are not large enough for me as they press the sides of my head....that said, most glasses do. When I go into a LensCrafters they usually have 2 to 3 models in the entire store that fit my head so this is no real surprise. The reason I bring it up is if you have a really big round head, these won't be comfortable. The prescription (I got 1.5's) seemed too strong so I will be bringing them in to my optometrist to check.

Breakable
I bought these reading glasses because they have metal frames. I've had bad luck recently with two different pairs of reading glasses with plastic frames that broke after a very short period of time. I thought I would have better luck with metal frames. BUT...one of the hinges broke in less than a week making the glasses unusable. Will never buy this brand again.

Not bad, but shop around locally and try those first.
These are fine. Well constructed, to the point most folks think these are prescription lenses. But for whatever reason they're not as comfortable or clear as the $1 readers that I buy at Dollar Tree. Those are more pleasant to use, less eye strain, and feel basically weightless. I took these to work because they look more classy, and I need them less there.

This all adds up to a better and more comfortable and useful fit
I had to face it a long time ago, I have a fat head. These glasses' frame are slightly larger than the usual fare offered at big box retailers. The lenses are also larger. This all adds up to a better and more comfortable and useful fit. I can wear these for hours and there is no discomfort from regular frames' fit on my face. The optical quality is quite good. Bottom line, good product and I would recommend.

Broken after a month
These glasses broke off at the hinge on the left side. Tried to fix, but the metal hinge completely broke off.
