Ozeri Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food Scale

I researched various kitchen scales because I'm just starting to mill & bake my own bread. Had years of experience with quick breads out of a box, beer bread, homemade zucchini, banana & pumpkin breads but always felt making homemade yeast breads was a bit intimidating and time consuming (did not want to fail). I'm also going to introduce ancient grains as I progress for healthier breads. I noticed many recipes are in metric and I don't have the inclination to learn to convert in my head (in my USA culture & growing up we don't use metric but from research I get that it is suppose to be more accurate although I don't recall ever having an issue using our traditional volume measures).The Ozeri digital scale had every feature I wanted for my first scale including a great price of $11 (in case I didn't like it or as sometimes happens the product breaks in short time frame) and a bonus feature. Sometimes the Amazon reviews can leave one bewildered as to what to really expect. So far I'm glad I chose the Ozeri. I can't review its longevity yet but these are the features that helped me decide on the OzeriA. Goldilocks size (just right! Not too big/too small). There is already enough stuff taking up counter space.B. Goes to 2 digits on OZS, some reviews said it only went to 1 digit (yes I'm going to be using grams but I still have a gazillion recipes that use traditional measures).C. TARE function - awesome. I wouldn't buy a scale that doesn't have TARE feature.D. Good response when adding ingredients, can lag a second but seems other inexpensive brands are the same or worse.E. It holds/displays the value for 2 minutes by default. Bonus: instructions say it can be set to hold for up to 5 minutes (not verified). That is nice option for those days I'm not operating at peak baking organization.F. Has rubberized feet to hold in place but still movable (not suction cups to battle with).G. MAX Weighing over 13 lbs. Not sure I will need that much unless I get really good at bread baking. Others stop at 11 lbs. Like it when a product offers a little extra.H. Easy to use. Two control buttons. Can move through the various Units (6 total) and it remembers initial value.I. Large display although the Units can be hard to see (probably more a function of my eyes than the scale) as you scroll through them. Not a show stopper but if I graduate to a new scale that will be on my want list.J. Uses 2 AAA batteries. I'm grateful power plug not required, small counter space and few accessible outlets.K. Great price.L. 1 year warranty. Hopefully won't need to verify. Offers another year but kinda gimmicky/phishing so I won't be getting it. But I get it, it's marketing.M. It comes in various colors. i dont care unless the only color available is one I don't like. If anyone is still reading and cares I got the silver/black.It's early days but right out of the box I'm happy I chose the Ozeri Pronto. Also it shipped very fast (2-3 days) and n shipping damage.

I recently was in need of a set of scales for measuring quantities of epoxy for jewelry making and wood filling. Am i glad that I chose this machine. It was very easy to set up and to use. There are a variety of different weights and all options are readily available and obvious on the front of the machine. I especially enjoy the "tare" feature which compensates for the weight of the holding vessel. I am in need of a second machine for another location and will look no farther than this machine.

No complaints. Easy to use, batteries last forever.I use this to see how much filament I have left for 3D printing, and it works perfectly. I set on an empty spool, and tare the value. Then when I put on another spool, I know just how much filament I have left. It also works great for weighing prints so that I know how much filament or resin I used for a print; this helps with pricing.

I first bought this black food scale in April 2017 (for $12) and it shows no signs of slowing down!Personal pros:-The scale reacts almost immediately to any weight being placed on/removed from it, rolling up/down until it reads the current weight on it in seconds. It even includes negative values for greater accuracy!-Compact, sleek, stylish and easy to clean, only requiring the occasional spritz of water with dish soap.-The circular style is fantastic for weighing bowls, bars and other oddly-shaped objects.-Long-lasting; I use mine daily and have never had to change the battery yet! The auto-off feature has probably been the main lifesaver here.Personal cons:-Its small size makes it easy to weigh plates but harder to read the display since it will usually be covered.-The auto-off feature cannot be adjusted.-No backlight requires the user to use adequate lighting, but this does not interfere with its function and/or use.I recommend this scale for anyone wanting a handy, compact tool that is responsive, accurate and long-lasting and who is also fine with measuring one dish at a time, albeit quickly. Overall the “Ozeri Pronto Digital Multifunction Kitchen and Food Scale, Elegant Black” gets a respectable 4/5 stars!

This is a fantastic reasonably priced kitchen scale. I've used more expensive scales, but this one does exactly what I want it to do. Easy to switch between ounces, pounds, and grams and accurate. Love this scale!

I bought this to use in the beauty salon to use for color/processing solution. Whether I use it in ounces or grams, it makes getting the ratios exact. It's slim enough that it takes up such little room in my cabinet. I purchased another to use at home in the kitchen. it makes all my bread recipes come out the same each time with it's accuracy in measuring the ingredients. The digital numbers are clear to read with no room for error. I would highly recommend this scale.

Já tive várias balanças e uso diariamente na cozinha. Todas são ruins, mesmo de marcas conhecidas. Essa é boa, funciona e não quebra. Pq a bala dela é fixa e o prato é que pesa, ao contrário das outras que são uma coisa só, e o sensor está nos pés da balança.Essa funciona e é robusta. Vale a diferença de preço.

I love the fact we have 3 types of measurements like : oz/ml/g and I found no issue pressing power/tare function as the first time goes to power on, then reset the weight to 0 and then power off. I also love the fact you can easily replace the batteries as it only requires 2 AAA and no need to screw or unscrew to reach the battery socket. I have yet to see its durability, but at this price, it's pretty easy to replace if necessary.

Utilizo para pesar os ingredientes das minhas massas. Ela é bem fácil de usar e tem uma boa precisão!Só me incomoda um pouco o fato de ser uma balança relativamente pequena, de resto faz sua função com excelência!Quanto a Amazon, não tenho reclamações! Sempre entregando meus produtos dentro do prazo e bem embalados!

A balança possui uma precisão muito boa. Ela consegue pesar adequadamente pequenas quantidades. Outras balanças que já usei não conseguiam identificar pequenas porções, ficavam zeradas até que colocasse uma quantidade maior de produto.Pesar alimentos em pratos é um pouco chato, pois o prato cobre o visor da balança e você precisa ficar se abaixando para ver o valor. Mas isso não foi um problema para mim.
