Made life easier
I got this because I'm autistic and one of the variety of sensory processing disorders I have to deal with daily is tactile... almost all non-cloth surfaces feel sticky to me, even though they are infact not sticky at all. For years, I just covered most of my desk with multiple microfiber cloths, which for the most part works fine, but the clothes can be easily displaced with even the slightest movement. My hope was that getting this pad would help simplify things while doing homework at my desk... and after only having it a few days, it definitely has. The rubber bottom keeps the pad secure in place and the material on the top is smooth enough to effortlessly move the mouse around, but also not too smooth as it also keeps my Surface Pro from sliding around while directly inking on it with the pen to do homework. As far as the smell... it had a brief smell after removing it from the packaging, but has faded.... I can barely smell it only when getting unusually close to it. This was also a concern of mine, as I'm also sensitive to smells... mostly perfume type scents. It's possible however I got lucky, but even if that's the case, I'm still very grateful with how getting this mat has positively impacted my life.

but this is absolutely perfect! It has a great feel
I just got it yesterday, so I’ll update if anything changes.. but this is absolutely perfect! It has a great feel, seems really durable. I like the stitching and it looks classy. It has a smell.. like all mouse pads do at first. I think the smell will fade over time. I assume it will take longer for the smell to fade due to it’s size. Definitely recommend!

No frills required.
Just replaced hard surface mouse pad, at the loss of the RGB aesthetic, because I was tired of my keyboard slipping on my desk.I had seen a couple of the large mouse pads at big box stores and wasn't really down with the idea of paying $30+, especially for the awkwardly thin mats they were so eager to let you feel through the packaging.I had seen Aukey products around plenty on my research hunts for other products so, I decided for the price and the reviews to give this pad a shot. The neoprene feels great and hefty with excellent stitching around the edges, which is a great surprise after seeing the flimsy mats with the cut edges that had been offered in the box stores.A small symbol in the upper left and lower right for branding isn't noisy or crazy, which is greatly appreciated for some us.I did notice a slight odor of the material since it's new but, I have no doubt that it will dissipate fairly quickly.I will be updating in a month or so about product life (fraying, ease of cleaning, etc.) but, I feel way better about purchasing this than the big name gaming mouse pads I had been looking at.Edit/Update:Had it for a few months now, and I have to say I'm still really impressed with the durability. Clean up is still easy, albeit my main complaint is really just that living in a dessert black picks dirt/dust really easy. So far my clumsy actions have resulted in spilling everything from tea and coffee to thermal paste, contact lens solution and isopropyl alcohol on it. All of which were wiped up fairly easily and haven't left any noticible stains or watermarks. I haven't tried to wash it with more than just a damp cloth and maybe some mild soap by hand.Overall I still recommend this to anybody looking for a larger mousepad.

Mouse pad, yes, but my tool box likes it, too
I have now bought two of these. The first turned out to be the perfect surface for the (*cough* Harbor Freight *cough*) cart I use under my big tool box. Glued it to the top of the cart and it keeps the box safe from slipping. Turns out the AUKEY pad was half the price of a neoprene or rubber sheet big enough for the shelf. Cutting the AUKEY pad (width was perfect, only length was trimmed) was the only sensible thing to do. Of course, this meant I had to buy another pad for my desk, but now I have a better appreciation for the bargain price of this pad. So two thumbs up for this pad! Use it everywhere!

Some specifics for prospective buyers:
Surface Texture:The texture is very smooth, much faster then other cloth pads like the qcK or goliathus control. While fast, the mouse doesn't slide around much and stops quickly when let go, an excellent texture for those who need both precision and speed. On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is a smooth plastic hard pad and a 10 would be something highly textured like the goliathus control, I give it a 6 in terms of speed.Size:Very standard size for full table mousepads, not much to say here.Waterproofness:The surface is very much as advertised. When tested there was a little dampness leftover on the surface, but it pales in comparison to how bad a spill it could have been. Makes maintenance very easy, however the bottom and edge can still get wet, so if you do spill, it's wise to clean the table as well. The Edge & grip:It's important to note that the edges of mousepad do go off of the surface of the pad a bit, rubbing against your wrists. This isn't a problem if you keep your wrists planted or away from the edges, but it's something to keep in mind. This problem can be remedied by having the bottom of the pad hang off the edge of the table, but its clearly not how it was intended it be used. On the bright side, they are very sturdy and I'm not afraid of putting it in the wash. The grip on the bottom is very goliathus-esque however, out of the box it does not have the same adhesiveness to the table that something like the QcK does. I imagine as the mouse pad uncurls this problem naturally will solve itself.Asthetics:Looks very sharp, not overstated, but not boring to look at either.Overall:4 stars for everything stated previously -1 for the edge being so intrusive on an otherwise perfect deskmat.UPDATE:After about 1 month of use the edge of the stitched edge started to fray a bit, which I cleaned with a lighter. The edge is a lot softer and less intrusive now that it's been broken in. The left side of the mousepad is still slightly raised from the packaging, so I decided to put a bunch of books on top of it. Still a 4 star review, but once the edge of the stitching is broken in, it seems that it's far less abrasive then it used to be.
