Mountain Bike Pedals with Replaceable Pins, Light Weight, Non-Slip, Aluminum Alloy, 9/16" Spindle and 3 Sealed Bearings

I spent 30+ years working in the bike industry and I must say that my initial impression of these pedals is very positive. Bearings feel silky smooth and the finish on the pedals is first class. The platforms are clearly marked "left" and "right" for easy installation. The edge of each platform is beveled to make flipping the pedal easier. I will post a follow up review once I put some miles on them. As for right now, I'm blown away by how nice these pedals are for the price.follow up after using these pedals:Unfortunately these pedals are lacking when it comes to off road use. The traction pins are too short to provide a solid grip between pedal and shoe. For a serious mtb pedal look elsewhere.

[Please note: This review is only about the replacement pins themselves.] The replacement pins are steel and M4 thread size and do the job nicely if you need basic pin replacements. However, they don't seem to me to be a great value anymore. I paid $7.98 on Amazon for the 24 pin set on 8/27/18 and thought that was pushing the price/value ratio to the upper limit. Today, just a few days later as I write this review (8/30/18) they're now $9.98 on Amazon and definitely overpriced considering you can get a set of 40-50 pins of different makes WITH A TOOL from Worldwide Cyclery for $14-$16... shipping included. I didn't order from W.C. because I felt it was less risky to try out 24 pins first.

I am impressed with these pedals, they feel very solid. They don't spin freely and make loose bearing noise which is a good thing. Appear to be well sealed from dirt. They look very technical on my full carbon fugi 2.5. I have given up on clip in pedals, not the way I like to ride.

These pedals are indeed lighter than regular pedals for my Titanium Litespeed road bike. It's quite a bit longer but width is good. The bearings seem to need some breaking in, as it feels a bit tight; IOW, it does not spin when done by hand.

They are beautiful, I almost wanted to keep just to look at them. They have a simple functional design that makes them unique. They work great and seem very durable.

This are great my husband hurt his leg so he could not use his clip on so these worked out great as he riding in the great cycle challenge for kids cancer

Product is very well made and fits perfectly. Really nice style. Very good grip when riding.

it's quality but i wish my shoes didn't wander so much on the pedal.
