U.S. Government QuickStudy Laminated Reference Guide (Quick Study: Academic)

Easy to read and memorize.
I bought this sheet for my son who was taking Civics in H.S. He was very thankful to have it to use as a study guide. Even though he took notes throughout his class, he liked the short snippits of info and found the sheet handy to have. The categories are broken down into small sections and organized well. If you are a visual learner, the colors help to keep one topic from blurring into another. I think it definitely helped him do well on his final.

For young eyes only
Loved the condensed version but may be a little to small print. I realize the goal was to keep pages to a minimum and with a magnifying mat you can read it without difficulty. And if that's all it takes to have such a thorough, all in one place go to for the grand kiddos( who can read the print without assistive devices) then I can do that. Sometimes Google isn't everything, sorry Google. But thank you!

Helpful and a great learning tool!
I'm obsessed with learning about our government; I did that 40 years ago, but found I needed to brush up! I love this chart!! Clear and concise, it's easy to follow. I work at a high school and put it up in my office to encourage our high school kids to read it. If I were a teacher, I'd buy two of these so I could post both sides for a complete view! Colorful and easy to read. I love it and plan to buy all the versions of this product!

The US Government - Its Duties and Responsibilities Made Clear - And Laminated Too!
With so much talk these days about The US Constitution I decided to do a self directed summer course on the founding of our republic along with the duties and responsibilities of the branches of the government, I bought a pocket size book of The Constitution on Amazon for study and these BarCharts for quick reference . They are excellent and will last a long time as they are laminated as well. I would encourage all Americans to take another look at where we came from and where we are now. It makes for a very good read.

Nice overview, but mine as received is post-9/11 focused, not post-2008
This is plenty readable and has very good clear lists of parts of the federal government. It has the basic language to describe things, that relates well the basic phrases in the laws creating them. Obviously cyber-security, trade issues and space exploitation will bring more to future editions, if any.

Great summary or outline for those who need a reminder course. Fun at parties.
With everything that's happening in our nation politically I needed a little refresher as to the functions of the various branches, and government structure. I wish I'd paid more attention in civics classes. It's simple, easy to understand and doesn't take a great deal of attention span ;) to learn it. Since they don't seem to be teaching this anymore, I recommend this highly for anyone who wants to know more about how our government is supposed to work. Maybe we should share it with the politicians.
