Light weight, Zoom and Bright. Detachable head and 3 bats.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Just got it so this is the first impression. My last unit was a best seller but the elastic headband became weak. The headband on this seems to be the same type, which is a common stretch band type, so i don't have great expectations there.Has a light wait front led head light housing (single led and plastic housing with switch). Zoom is nice as long as it doesn't change adjustment in tight spots by accidental pushing of it, we'll see on that. Switch step positions are On-Full-1/2 bright-flashing. 3 18650 batteries (same basic battery used by Tesla in the past) puts the weight at the back of the band, which is good as the front with it's light extension dominates the light position if you take the band off while the head is still attached to the band.Removable head for tight spots that can't be seen while wearing it, hoping this works for spots such as underneath a car and needing to spot light deep up. My old light wasn't detachable so placing the light to shine somewhere else was all about what the batteries would allow for placement. Usually, not in the right spot because the entire headband and light needed to agree for hands free location of the beam. Usually, did not work as the batteries were too heavy for pointing and maintaining the light at the desired angle hands free.Oh, forgot.... It comes with 3 batteries rated at 2200ma and tested to a actual 1400ma. If they last at all, that's maybe 4 bucks per battery right there, so that makes this a real bargain. That would put the head unit at $8. My last head light cost more, no batteries and not as good as this one overall. Now that I've used it for a few hours I appreciate the long battery life and that the zooming light unit is still small and not hanging out there very far.

Most Practical Headlamp, 5 Star
I have went through many lists on Amazon before I chose this headlamp because the features offered and honest advertisement. I'm very happy with this purchase. The unique features that I like:- Battery gauge indicator (4 blue LEDs so you know when it need to be charged);- Can be used as an USB power bank if necessary (I'm going to put it in my "bug out bag");- The micro USB charging port (no need to worry about lost/damage of the dedicated charging cable or the charger, while a micro USB cable and charger can be easily found / replaced any time)- 3 batteries for longer run time. I tested continuously run for 8 hrs at high setting, still bright. In factor, you can use only one or two batteries for this headlamp. Expected 2+ hours at high light and 6+ hours for low light for each fully charged battery (included 3x 2200mAh batteries)- Zoomable light beam. This is a must have function for a headlamp.- Lightweight. One bright light does it all. See other headlamp has as much as 8 lights, which is overkill and heavier.- Built-in charger has over charge / discharge protection.Compared with some other sellers on Amazon, LBJD is honest and their advertisement is creditable. In the advertisement:- Batteries are 2200mah vs others may state as high as 9000mAh (False, anything over 4000mAh for a 18650 Li-ion battery is not possible as of today's technology);- Brightness is 1000lm vs others may as high as 20000lm (False, anything over 1500lm for a battery operated headlamp are questionable. Refer to a 35W LED car headlight, which need a small fan for cooling, produce about 3600lm);Some issues (design flaws):- The covers of USB ports, both input and output, are loose and too easy to come off. Be careful if use it outdoor in a raining day. Maybe you can use a mask type to keep them in place.- When charging, once all 4 blue LEDs turn to solid on, the batteries are only about 75% full. You may need to keep trickle charging for 3 more hours to top off the batteries.Below are some test data for one who may interestedPower consumption:at 4.2V (fully charged battery) 4.2W high light, 1.26W low lightat 3.7V (nominal battery voltage) 2.4W high light, 0.74W low lightat 3V (battery near exhausted) 0.69W high light. 0.21W low lightThe output power is not regulated. The light will become dim alone the battery depleting. But light output is still usable at 3VBatteries:I don't have a battery tester but had run continues on at high light for 8 hours. This roughly consumed 19Wh energy, while 3 2200mAh 3.7V batteries can provide up to 24Wh energy. So the 2200mAh battery capacity advertised is accontiable.Built-in charger:Over discharge protection cut off power at 2.6VOver charge protection cut off charging current at 4.2V / below 100mASo you don't need to worry about battery damage due to over charging (leave it charging overnight) or over discharging (leave the light on till batteries fully depleted)

Great upgrades!
On/off button is firm, light tilting capability is firm, has 3 batteries vs. Only having 2. Only upgrade I would suggest for those of us that work 10-14 hours a day is to get more powerfull batteries that will last longer inbetween charges. I got 3 6800 mili amp batteries put in and it goes a week without noticing it needs charging. Most of all, it has a USB port to charge!!! It comes with a full size usb port on the opposite side of its charging port so that you can charge a phone or blue tooth off the batteries, but it is important to know that the voltage may or may not be regulated. It could burn up whatever your charging. Also comes with a cool zipper pouch that you can use.

Super bright, long lasting battery.
I wanted to make sure I gave this time before I reviewed it. My camping trip isnt until mid July 2019, but I wanted to make sure I use this at every chance I got. I have a few dark spots (which I will now be adding lighting to in the future) that I used this on. At first I thought it was going to be uncomfortable to wear because of the box part that holds the rechargeable batteries, nope. Super comfortable to wear. Super bright white light, adjustable on the head piece to move the light in the direction you want it to shine on. Most impressive is that I've been using it extensively and the battery life seems to last really well so far. I will more than likely buy a second one at this point for my wife. Highly recommend this for anyone that likes to camp or is planning a camping trip in the future.
