I took away a lot from this short book and even found new products to make and different ways to make some products already in my arsenal. Definitely cannot wait to try these.

This book is very simple and is primarily a recipe book. The recipes seem fine and contain instructions. You will not gain a lot of insight into understanding the ingredients or anything beyond following the simple recipes. The price is perfect for what you receive, but do not expect anything beyond some recipes. I did not find it helpful for my uses, but others may.

Very interesting information. I've never tried to make homemade bath product before so I'm looking forward to trying some of the recipes.

I bought this book for my daughter who is heavily into the DIY to avoid Cancer movement. I found myself engaged in the contents of this book and will likely set out to try one of the recipes with my daughter this weekend. Wish me luck!

What a delightful surprise! I was attracted to this book by the cover and curious as to what "bath enhancements" are! I guessed it had something to do with soaps and having a luxurious bath time and yes, I was right! In fact, The DIY Guide to Therapeutic Bath Enhancements goes way deeper than that and kicks off with a brief historical account of the history of bathing and reasons why the author loves her baths! There are lots of classic and contemporary "home made bath recipes" using natural ingredients like epsom salts, vegetable oils, essential oils, dried flowers and herbs. I feel this book would make a very loving gift for a friend and/or you can make the bath bombs or melts as personal gifts.
