I bought this to replace the one I'd had forever but which had an accident with a ceiling fan.It works pretty consistently with my other one; bugs don't slip through the cracks and the electricity does seem to activate on impact. However, it's not enough of a jolt to kill the moths on swat. It's usually enough to stun them, where they can have the racket held on them on the ground (which absolutely does the trick).I like how big it is (I got the bigger one) on the racket part, the handle is comfortable. It does have an unfortunate high-pitched screech when holding the button, but it's almost imperceptible to this 30 year old human. It might bother pets; untested.

Took these on our recent camping trip and the kids had too much fun using them to keep mosquitos at bay! Very effective for both mosquitos and flies!

Zaps really well once you get used to it.

I have used this portable bug zapper in and outdoors for a few years. THEY WORK GREAT so I keep 2 in the car for hiking / fishing and one in the house. I still spray deet on legs and waist for ticks. Mosquitoes always keep looking for an unsprayed part. Using the bug zapper is better because you kill the ones that attack and then do other things instead of having a fleet of them hovering around looking for an opportunity. Only complaint is that IF you drop it the battery compartment door dislodges or breaks too easily so I use duct tape to secure them. One set of batteries lasts all season.

Had a hard time getting those bugs to fly into the swatter. You don’t want to use it as a swatter-it would break!

We have bugs…lots of ‘em! I could open a mosquito ranch! But instead, we Zap those little annoying blood suckers. There’s malicious joy after each ZaP! Bug Gone!!…But there’s always another one waiting to take its place, so this is a great summertime tool for enjoyment to keep on hand. Buy extra zappers for your friends so when they visit and sit on the porch, they can also help reduce the mosquito population!

I absolutely love these, and the satisfaction it gives when having both of these in hand, doing Ninja moves on my front porch, even adding Ninja sounds! Added to this the excitement of the zap zap zap, and saying 'who's fryin now baby, over and over until they stop zapping!!' I hope no-one captures video of this grandma doing her moves on the front porch,.I have the perfect excuse at the ready, 'I was just doing my daily exercise of Tai Chi! ' If you have visitors, give them a racquet and play 'Fly Tennis!' It should be illegal to have so much fun! 😂😂😂

Made in China, cheap components. A minor nitpick is the power button. It's perfectly flush with the handle so it's not easy to find it without looking. In the dark you have to feel for it and it's difficult and slow. There needs to be something to distinguish the location by either raising the button or perhaps a unique shop to the one side of the handle. I'll modify the button or the handle somehow with a few scratches or something for tactile reference. I have the 2AA batt model because I use eneloop rechargeables in everything I can. I recommend the large size. Anything small is inefficient unless maybe you have some special use of a small paddle. The large isn't that big to me.*UPDATE*Got 2. One quit after 3 months. Sent a msg to seller on Xmas eve with no expectations. Got a reply and complete resolved in 15 minutes. Amazing.

I would have given this product 5 stars, but the £19.99 model does not have the LED light as stated in the description, it's not a deal breaker but it is still misleading.As for the product itself its pretty powerful and kills the flies on impact. You can hear them sizzle. Larger flies like blue bottles might require a second zap but it stuns them enough to finish the job.We have been plagued this year with smaller than average house flies which are impossible to catch, but armed with this bat and a bit of practice can zap them mid flight and on landing.Not sure why others are saying this product doesn't work. You have to hold the button in and pin them right in order to zap them and will take effort obviously.The light on the £19.99 2pk model is red when holding in to show it is on and not an LED as stated. The fact you have to hold the button in might save on battery but perhaps it might be useful if you had the choice to turn the bat on and off.Another thing worth mentioning is disposal. Any fly that might not drop off the bat immediately can be removed from the bat, with a little tap.All in all if your prepared to stalk your prey, a brilliant solution to keeping your home fly free.

Prezzo giusto per una racchetta che fa quel che deve. Ucciso anche un calabrone enorme con diverse scariche. L'unica pecca è che per rimuovere le batterie si fa un po' fatica, ma chissene.
