GREAT for controlling a low pressure co2 system
I bought this in hopes of controlling ph swings due to co2 dosing in a nano freshwater shrimp tank. It does its job beautifully. At first, I was worried that it would require higher pressure to even make it through the open solenoid - thankfully that wasn't the case. I'm using an old nutrafin co2 generator (plastic canister using the yeast/sugar method with tubing attached to a bubble ladder) and this valve works perfectly with it. I'm very pleased. Works with regular airline tubing. I'd buy it again.

Great purchase... But some complications.
This thing works wonderfully with my small UP Aqua CO2 regulator. I have been using it for about a month, and have had no trouble with it whatsoever. Great purchase...Edit 8/14/17 - I had to take back a star due to the fact that I may have broke this device, or it may have quit working on its own, not sure. I tried to attach this thing to my regulator without a coupler and it has not worked right since. The reason for the modification is that you attach this device to the regulator via airline tubing, and when the solenoid closes, the pressure builds up between the regulator and solenoid in the airline hose, therefore leaking and wasting CO2. Not that CO2 is expensive, but when a tank that should last for months only lasts for a couple of weeks, it's the principle that matters at that point. I woke a few mornings to the airline hose popped off the regulator. I will reluctantly order another, but will try and find an 1/8" 27 NPT coupler to attach this device directly to the regulator. If anyone knows where I can find this part, thanks in advance if you send me the info. I tried for many hours to find one to no avail.8/25/17 - Just received my replacement that I purchased a week ago. So far, so good. It shuts off when the power is interrupted. Will edit my review if this device quits working.12/31/17 - Very satisfied with Milwaukee. Once I got this device dialed in with the hookup that I needed, it works perfectly. One mistake that I made with the first one was that I turned the CO2 cylinder on its side to hide it from view. After doing further research, I found out that this is not supposed to be done. The reason the first failed is due to the fact that the liquid CO2 had leaked into the solenoid and caused the pin inside the unit to stick and eventually malfunction. Won't do that again...

Great product, runs much cooler than the others.
I started with some cheep unit but after realizing all solenoids aren't designed for continuous use & some import products can get quite hot I upgraded to this. It works quite well & maintains a low temp.

Very unreliable.
Garbage! Had this plugged to a timer and worked well for the first few weeks. Turned on when electrical current was run and turned off when it was removed. Now it just stays open even after electrical current is removed leaving co2 running and killing all my fish from co2 poisoning. Stopped working properly just days after return date. Have done everything possible to get it to work again properly to no avail. Now I have a 40$ paper weight.

Quiet, cool, reliable
When it's off it's off, no leaks as far as my bubble counter shows. At first I thought it was leaking but it was just excess co2 being pushed through the line and once that was expended no more bubbles. Su far it doesn't make any noise and it's cool to the touch.

DIY Co2 compatible!
I have this hooked up to my DIY Co2 setup. I never thought about when I would need to spend the night somewhere else.So many of these have the inlet are made to be screwed onto a canister of Co2 and not to be connected from an air hose. This one was perfect! Air hose compatible for the intake and outtake! I have two bubble counters and a pressure gauge so i really just needed the solenoid. Hooked up to a smart plug so I can control it with my phone too. I’m in love!

Pretty much the same as what comes on the MA957 regulator.
The solenoid that came with my regulator started failing 'off' after about 11 months of use. Four screws take off the motor and plug unit from the coupling/flow unit, so I just swapped the motor/plug units. I actually couldn't remove the solenoid in one piece without taking off one of the gauges anyway, which I wanted to avoid since they're famously delicate. It looks different in the picture because those two pieces are oriented differently than as they come on the regulator, but it can be oriented any way you choose once apart. So, that was handy. It loses a star for being the same as the model that failed after 11 months, hopefully this will last longer but from what I can tell it's a bit of a crapshoot. However, it runs cool and I haven't found a solenoid that seems to have a better life expectancy. The only difference from the solenoid on the regulator is that the coupling/flow unit (the silver part, I don't know what it's actually called) has 'A' and 'B' marked, and I have no idea why. Is that to denote flow direction? Then why didn't they mark it 'in' and 'out?' But there's no explanation, even on the instructions I found online. Fortunately for me I didn't need that particular portion of the solenoid.
