I love this book! It helps me brush up on my parasitology knowledge. There are even parasites in here I haven't heard about which is a plus! I love how it is organized into sections such as cat parasites, horse parasites, etc. I also love how it goes over different ways to prepare slides. I would definitely recommend this to anyone just interested in the field of parasitology or students that want more information/ study material on parasites.

This book is very helpful. It covers many different animals. I just wished it covered chickens which is the reason I ordered it. It still was very helpful though.

Parasitology is fun! The only drawback to this book is there is minimal text. It works well as a basic reference.

I used this for my parasitology class and it helped me a lot to learn parasite names. Some of the names didn’t match but I made adjustments to it to help me learn it

Great visuals

Tab all the "Location" pages and write in page numbers for each listed parasite so that you can easily find the parasites. My professor's let us use this for the lab exams, so we became really familiar with this book. It's a good reference. Some of the drug protocols are outdated (these things change often), so scratch them out and add the correct ones where needed.

The comprehensive manual for the parasites seen in Veterinary Medicine (and beyond). This text is full of photos, excellent descriptions of life cycles, identification and recovery methods, treatments, and prevention methods. This book should be a part of every veterinary practice reference library as it's probably the only parasite book you will need.

Bought this for my Vet Tech program. Useful when trying to ID parasites. Good quality and fast shipping.

This book was required for one of my classes. It's pretty good, for the basics, but desperately needs to be updated and reworked. Not all parasites have a picture either, unfortunately :(
