Product Description Stan Freberg made his name as a voice actor in animation, initially with Warner Brothers in 1944 and later Walt Disney, and was still providing the voice to animated heroes at the turn of the century. His dual career as a satirist began in 1951 with Capitol Records and subsequently evolved into a series of musical parodies, with both lines resulting in chart success. The popularity of his recordings was also sufficient to gain him his own radio show, with Stan often using the show as an opportunity to perform his previously recorded sketches! This collection, therefore, really does live up to its billing as The Best of Stan Freberg; the only problem is what to leave out!
