I measured the space available for the holdrt tray and all was OK. However, the existing space includes an upright, threaded fixing rod that is imovable. Therefore, when it came to putting the tray in and attempting to fix the battery in place, the fixing bar with the kit would not fit. I have given 5 stars for the product because it is robust, appears to be well made and value foir money. Also given 5 stars for easy to fix as I am sure it is as long as the vehicle's battery space is adequate.

Width was good for my 90ah varta leisure battery but needed to fold down the two end tabs to fit it for length. Plenty of mounting holes to screw it down (four self tapping screws supplied) and the metal alloy base seems strong enough to do the job.

I’ve used this on a rhib, it’s sturdy and a good size for most marine batteries. I did use locktite on the wing nuts though to make sure it doesn’t vibrate free.Happy with the quality and it has plenty of secure points to bolt it down.
