I got this for my daughter. I haven’t seen her use it in front of me but looks just like the ones we had at Beaty School so I thought it would be best for her. It looks just the same.

Served its purpose holding a mannequin head for styling wigs. It is sturdy, easy to assemble and worth what I paid. Came quickly too.

If you are wanting to become a professional hair stylist or are looking to get professional results, DO NOT buy this mannequin. It doesn't take long until the hair texture goes from soft and manageable to stiff and stringy; making it difficult and frustrating to get professional results. This mannequin is good for those who want to just play around and get the basics. BEWARE!!! The mannequin hair sheds really bad and gets everywhere. Having said all this, I have been able to master French and Dutch braiding by using the mannequin and YouTube and can now braid my daughter's hair.

This is a good product. It's just difficult to find a good place to attach it to. The plastic piece for attaching a mannequin head is a little small and is not snug for the mannequin head...

Reading lots of reviews and not knowledgeable about wig heads and holders, this one had better reviews. I’m planning on getting a 2nd one. It opens wide enough for my furniture, has done no damage, it’s sturdy, easy to use. Stays tight and stable. Directions were simple and easy to follow, included clear pictures. Very happy with this choice.

I have not had any issues with the head stand. I received it in just a few days.
