Good story
A beautiful love story with fun, entertaining moments and tearjerker, heartfelt moments that bring it all together. I would have liked an epilogue, but maybe we will see these characters again in the next book in this series.

Great start to a new series!
Carter is one of the five guys in the Screw Crew who are more brothers than friends. They can have any girl they want and they usually do and everyone wants to be their friend. He comes from a wealthy background and is being groomed to take over his father’s company and plays hard but studies harder.Della is studying to be a Graphic Designer and all she wants is to do well in school so that she can get a job and look after her sister. She is working as a waitress one night when they come up and they make a bet about who can get her into bed first. After a while they do have sex however a misunderstanding occurs and they don’t see each other until four years later when déjà vu occurs and he is meeting his crew at a diner and she is waitress. Their lives have changed however their feelings haven’t but Della has a secret that when revealed will turn everything upside down.I loved the chemistry and connection between Della and Carter and how the obstacles life threw at them just made them stronger. The guys in the crew are awesome and I can’t wait to read the next book in the story.

Long review with mild spoilers. Don’t read this book.
The lack of descriptive detail was really frustrating. We’ve got no idea what either main characters body type is, how old they are, what their height is, and genuinely cannot draw up any sort of image of what they look like.Dark eyes is not detailed enough. Every color could be considered dark depending on the shade. We get more in depth details on side characters than on Della and Carter. The blurb is also extremely misleading and overly dramatic.I’m not sure why this is classified as an enemies to lovers romance. They weren’t ever enemies, there wasn’t really any bullying, Carter said three mean things to Della, and she said one mean thing to him. Everything is also way too rushed. Four very short encounters over the course of two days and they’re already obsessed with each other? They know each other for less than a week, don’t see each other for the following two, but then she’s losing her virginity to him?I definitely don’t understand Della. She’s supposed to be this driven young woman trying to get her sh*t together to raise her little sister, she’s constantly boohooing in her inner monologue about how awful Carter is, yet she doesn’t hesitate to be intimate with him?The time line is all off.Della was set to graduate in six months, said her sister turned 11 a month after she graduated, and that she needed to have everything figured out to provide for her sister before she turned twelve. We’re then given a ridiculously drawn out play by play that makes it clear that it’s been only about a week, yet Della mentions it’s been a couple, and then suddenly she’s taken her final exam? Six months legit pass by from one paragraph to another without any detail or time jump? But then she turned around and mentions two weeks have passed by which means that the first 36% of this book is over the course of three weeks when it was supposed to be six months.Don’t even get me started on all of the contradictions. How can Jamie barely remember her dad if he died while she was still in the womb?!Last names are constantly changing.- The flash forward is three years after Danny’s birth. That’s what it specifically says, yet she’s about to turn four a week after that’s mentioned.I cannot support an author that can’t even keep the details in their own book consistent. These Characters are extremely immature. If they’ve been in college for almost three years, it’s safe so assume they are around 21, but they definitely act as though they’re fourteen. The drama causing Della to flea was exactly that. Drama. Unnecessary, unreasonable, immature, drama. Everything she thought was total crap. The second half of the book where it’s flashed into the future is messy, dramatic, way too fast paced, full of inconsistencies, and overall this book is not worth the read.I’ve honestly got no idea how this has so many good reviews.

5 Star Heartfelt Read ⭐️
This was my first book by Michelle Horst and it wasn’t my last.We first meet Della Trueman and Carter Hayes whilst they are in college. Della is totally focused on getting her degree in graphic design and wants nothing more than to provide her younger sister Jamie with the life she dreams of. Carter is part of the Screw Crew, five college guys playing the field. After a misunderstanding between Della and Carter he goes out of his way to show her why he has the name HEARTLESS. Although he fights it there is something that draws him to Della and no matter how hard he tries he knows he wants her. After one night together both their lives are changed forever, and nothing goes to plan.Della and Carter meet again 4 years later and it’s clear right from the start that their feelings towards each other haven’t changed although they now have something very much in common. She’s still the only woman he sees a future with but can he convince her and her family to take a chance on him?!? Let her see he’s no longer the player he once was.Loved this book can’t wait to read all of their stories. It’s a story of second chance love and a friendship that’s a brotherhood. Fab read.

written a book that you will absolutely fall in love with and become immediately addicted too
Michelle has done it again, written a book that you will absolutely fall in love with and become immediately addicted too. Loved all the characters in this book they were completely lovable and ones you become hooked on.I really enjoyed the premise of the Screw Crew, the tightknit group of 5 guys who had a strong bond like family, they come across as complete manwhores but really they have a heart of gold for anyone that gets past that security circle around them.Carter Hayes, a member of the Screw Crew, is nicknamed Heartless as he has shown himself quite ruthless when going after people he sees as having wronged his brothers. Unfortunately he has now set his heartless sights and mean barbs in Della's direction as he cant help but admit that he actually likes her at first.Of course as communication between Della and Carter is absolutely awful they end up parting ways after the best night of their lives because of misunderstandings and events beyond their controls.Fast forward to their unexpected reunion 4 years later where truths are revealed, and their attraction and chemistry is still there, sizzling between them waiting to explode. They have 4 years to catch up on and make up for.I loved all the boys in the Screw Crew so I am looking forward to each of their stories, especially Logan and Rhett's

It’s that kinda book you certainly don’t want to put down!We meet The Screw Crew – Carter, Marcus, Rhett, Jaxson & Logan, this story is based on Carter & Della the first couple..“Just remember I didn’t start this little game, you did.”“But I’m sure as hell going to finish it, babe.” ~ CarterCarter Hayes, Holy s**t balls!! He freely admits that he’s a heartless jerk but I can tell you that he’s fiercely loyal to those that matter to him! What more can you ask for right?? *Yum*Della Truman, Wow I just totally love her strength considering she’s got the whole world on her shoulders, she’s just as amazing & selfless person! Enjoyable Read.
This is a great start to a series I know I'm going to enjoy. These Guys the Screw Crew as they call themselves literally screw all the pretty girl's they can. It's a game, something to pass the time and have a little fun whilst doing it. They aren't hurting anybody. They don't want to settle down. Why deny themselves all that's on offer. Girls literally throw themselves at these guys. You might think these guys come across as A@@holes but there's more to them than that. They're actually really nice guys underneath all the arrogance. They are really loyal and protective to those they care about too.I'm definitely looking forward to reading more from this series. It was fun and I had a few laughs along the way.Carter really grew on me and I loved Della she's a feisty little thing that doesn't take crap from these guys.Bring on Marcus and Jaxson. I love these guys already.

Disappointed
I’ve read the other reviews and they were mostly great, the plot seemed very interesting, so I was very disappointed with the book itself.First, let me just say that the plot IS kind of interesting but it moved so fast I couldn’t really connect with the characters. It was just scene - cut - scene. Maybe that’s only my preference, but I really like reading about characters’ emotions and their thoughts and I didn’t get it here.Maybe if I connected with them more, I wouldn’t have been SO annoyed with the fmc. Her actions were so incoherent and overly-dramatic, it physically hurt me.And what’s up with being in love after seeing somebody only 3 (?) times? And Rhett (whom I find quite interesting overall) being the bighest D-bag in history, then magically transforming himself to the patient and caring friend towards the fmc.Overall, I give it 3 stars because the first part of the book, when they were still in college, did pull me in and all things aside I enjoyed the author’s writing style.I will definitely check out other books by this author, because I genuinely think they seem interesting (I really really hope I won’t get disappointed again) and I hope they get better.
