Price is reasonable but not very polished
I hate leaving bad reviews, but I found myself frustrated as someone completely new to rooftop tents. I will try to provide some constructive criticism for the authors.First, the book could have used an editor. There are quite a few typos ("form" instead of "from", "nd" instead of "and", etc ) and the grammar left a lot to be desired. It switches between first, second, and third person and some sentences seem out of place. It reads like a blog post or forum sticky and it would have been nice to see it cleaned up a little for publication.I also ended up with some unanswered questions. For example, I would have liked to have seen it start with the absolute basics...what is an annex, what is a rain fly, how does it mount to a car or trailer. Some I knew, other stuff I figured out or assumed. But there was room for improvement in this area. Even a section on the brief history of the rooftop tent might have been interesting, though I DO appreciate the book not having fluff just to make it longer. Finally, I appreciate the authors giving examples of tents. I just worry that it will date the book very quickly. This goes back to it feeling like a blog post instead of a reference material. What about used tents? What should I look for? I was able to capture some information but it mentions looking for a used tent without specifically talking about risks and trouble points to examine. In summary, $3 for this ebook was reasonable but I probably could have found the same info online. I would have liked for the authors to have provided a more polished product that stands out a bit from the pack.

Can't wait to go camping
It surprised me with how in-depth it actually was. I didn't expect to get so much info on rooftop tents and feel a lot more confident in making a well-informed decision as to which tent we need to get while we are preparing for our big road trip this coming summer! I have gained a lot more insight into the different type of tents there are and the maintenance guide at the end of the book was also pretty helpful. Can recommend anyone looking to travel this way to give this book a read.
