Exactly what I needed
For 15 years I have had these Malibu lights installed and now needed to replace some and wanted to add more tier lights. This set was perfect and I’m so glad I was still able to purchase. The large set was more cost effective. The lights came assembled just needed to push together and attach the post. I found using a large screwdriver and working it around in the ground allows me to push in the post. Care needs to be taken as they are plastic and will break if using a hammer.

Just what I expected.
I'd order this product again. Already installed and looks great. The service was fantastic. Like the look of low 7watt lights to LED.

Better Connectors?
The connectors to the wire did not provide consistent connectivity. Actually purchased a screw type connector and replaced the push connectors that came with the set.The connectors were the only drawback. Everything else is great!

Very Cheaply Made and Pain to Install!
Malibu hasn't changed their product design in decades and if you are replacing an old lighting systems you should save your money until you can afford a better product. Malibu's interlocking prong clips to attach the lights to the power wire are very difficult to lock together, especially if you are using a pre-existing power wire which is less flexible than new. You will need some form of pliers to squeeze the prongs together so they make a connection. Be careful not to destroy the clips when doing so. I bought two 12 packs because I needed 14 lights and wanted some extras as future replacements. Thank god I did as 1/3 of one set (4 lights) broke during my installment. Hope they last through 2 years of Texas weather. I am going to start saving up now for better lights.

Quality Construction
I purchased these lights to replace the units we have had for over 20 years. It would appear that these wil last even longer! The lights come bare wire ends with no connectors. I recommend the ZUCKEO Low Voltage Landscape Lights Cable Connectors, also available through Amazon.

12 pack is economical - beware the CHEAPLY made stakes - the lamp unit itself is solidly built
The 12 pack is the least expensive way to buy these. The lamps themselves are built solid, The failure point is the cheaply constructed, plastic stake that goes in the ground. its VERY easy to snap it where it goes into the base of the lamp pole. I knew this before I bought, as I had some of these in the past. My solution - I use the more sturdy stakes that come with the outdoor Christmas Candy Canes. So - in summary - the lights themselves are FIVE STAR - the stake is a ONE STAR, thus the final score of THREE STARS. You judge for yourself - if you need the lamps and have found an alternate way to stake them in with something more sturdy, then by all means, get this bargain priced 12 pack.

be careful when making connection to main wire.
Great lights. Have had these type lights for several years. I bought this set to replace some that were broken from children playing in the yard.
