So happy with this chair! As a new work-from-homer, I was in desperate need of a good chair with back support, but didn't want to spend a ton of money. It's been a month since I got this chair and I am thrilled - GREAT chair, especially for the price!! I was worried I wouldn't be able to cross my legs in it because of the arm rests, but they're tall enough that I can still do that. The seat is a nice solid cushion - firm enough to offer support, but not so firm that you're hurting. The back has a good lumbar support on my lower back. The foot rest is adjustable up and down. The assembly is easy. It raises and lowers easily. ZERO COMPLAINTS.

The chair is comfortable, fairly easy to assemble, and I like that it goes from low to high in height. The chair does have the option to rock/recline, but be aware that it is the entire seat that tips back, not just the back. Most importantly, if you're ordering this for a standing, counter height desk at which you sometimes want to sit, be sure to measure first. I ordered this as a replacement of my original tall, counter height chair and it is not as tall, even at its highest setting. At this point, it's too much trouble to take it apart, box it up, return it and get a different one, so I am going through the effort of having my desk height lowered to work with the chair. Also, the chair originally arrived with broken wheels, but I was able to reach the seller (only through Amazon, NOT through the e-mail address, website or phone number in the chair instructions -- all of which have been disconnected/discontinued), order new wheels and get the chair working. The seller was very helpful in sending new wheels very quickly for free. All in all, unfortunately I would not buy the chair again, but it may be right for someone with a lower desk.

Regarding the complaints about it not being high enough just measure your working height from a standard chair and you'll get an idea. You probably lose an inch or two sitting in it from the max height. For me the height is just right and I'm sure I could get a higher gas cylinder if I really cared about it being higher. The adjustable standing desk does just fine adjusting to my max height. I'd definitely get wheel upgrades but you'll probably still need a mat for carpet. The arm rest should have been adjustable but they are not. For me they work fine but if you're kinda wide you might have some issues. You can take them off if you want. The chair provides enough resistance to lean back comfortably without falling out of the chair every time. Wouldn't mind a leg-rest but never seen one on a drafting chair. It's as if, if not more comfortable than my high end drafting chair at work. We have lots of herman millers and it's something ergonomic like that. I'd say this is a great choice for the price and look into that longer gas cylinder if you need higher.

Finally, I can replace my little chair!!! This chair is very suitable and comfortable for larger people. When the huge box arrived, I was worried about how to assemble it. However, these people are very nice to give clear instruction, it took me about half hours to assemble it. The chair foam is very comfortable, not too soft and not too hard. The arm rest is risen to enough height. The other materials are very nice, and the levers works smoothly. Also the hollow back design is also a reason to buy it. It's unlikely the leather chair which is not good for long time sitting by several reasons. This drafting chair is well made, and comfortable more than other higher price chair. I highly recommend this chair to everyone who want a great product with great price. So Love it!!!

The chair is comfortable and supports my back well. I had the chair for almost a year when the axial bushing broke and made the chair rock side to side alittle. I took a video of what had happened and sent it to customer service. Amber Gallagher, service rep contacted me immediately. I further explained what had happened. Amber wasted no time in sending out the required repair parts to make my chair new again. I would recommend this chair and this company to anyone. Great product and great service to back it up.

This is a nice chair for the price. It's very comfortable to sit in and adjust easily for a low or high desk. The seat is padded well and the back rest feels good. The arm rests are horrible and dig into your arms. I ordered some pads off Amazon and they fit nice and make this chair work well. They should send some of these pads with the chair since it's a very uncomfortable design. Another option would be to change the design of the arm rests where they were flat across instead of having the groves. All in all, this is a very nice chair and is very comfortable. Seems well built and is easy to assemble. I would recommend for sure, just order some arm rest pads if you order this one!

There are in fact more ergonomic chairs out there: lumbar support, multi-lever options for adjustments, etc. I think for what I got the price point could have been a little less expensive.All in all? Yeah, this is a really terrific purchase and I'm pleased. I think eventually I'll look for something with more features for ergonomic support, but for now, it's really great. It was easy to assemble, feels comfortable enough, and is a solid construction. It fits my need very well of being a "higher" chair that allows me to use my desk as a standing desk by just rolling the chair away, and that is AWESOME. I also like that I can bring it down very low and slide it under my desk to keep it out of the way when not being used.If you're looking for something that is high quality, easy to deal with regarding the assembly; and neither pristine ergonomics or price point happen to be your highest priority, yeah, get this chair.
