I've always preferred creams to lotions when it comes to moisturizing the skin on my body. And shea butter is a personal favorite ingredient. The Terrajuve Deep Hydration Formula Body Cream, which includes shea butter, as well as mango butter, hempseed, coconut, almond and sunflower oils, doesn't disappoint. It's super dense and feels therapeutic going on my dry, itchy winter skin. I've been using it on my legs, arms, hands and decolletage while I'm still slightly damp after my nightly bath. Even though it's very rich, it absorbs pretty readily so that my hands don't feel slippery or greasy after I use it.In addition to its efficacy, I love the company's whole ethos. The ingredients are 100% organic and, according to the packaging, their products are manufactured in the United States. I did visit their website to confirm that, but wasn't able to find any address for them (a Google search also turned up nothing on this company), so I suppose I'll have to take their word for it. If the company would like to divulge the location of its manufaturing facility and/or corporate offices, I invite them to leave a comment on this review below. I'm sure other consumers would like to know.A couple of things, I should mention - for those who prefer unfragranced skin care, this does list fragrance as the final ingredient. And the product has a strong [and distintly fruity] aroma. I would attribute this to the mango butter, which is a main component, but there's also definitely a cucumber scent, even though cukes are not listed amongst the ingredients. Secondly, they recommend this for fading dark circles under eyes, which I suspect is a bit of an overreach, because it doesn't have any active ingredients that would target that issue and, due to the density and viscosity of the formula, I'd imagine this might be comedogenic and, personally, I wouldn't use it on my face.But despite all that, I really like this stuff. It's a wonderful and effective body moisturizer. Perfect for these harsh New England winters.

Nothing special about this cream. It smells nice but it doesn’t do what it says it does. It’s very thick and rich and definitely has a lovely lemon smell but that’s about it.

This is a rich body butter that goes on thick but absorbs into the skin after a few minutes. I even tried it on the dry areas of my face but the perfume in it irritated my eyes and sinuses so I will use it on my knees, elbows, and hands instead. It smells like mango or at least sweet fruit but with some noxious artificial floral notes.I used it on my face because I did not think that it contained fragrances or perfumes based on the ingredients listed in the photo. However, the ingredients listed on the jar that I received are in writing too small to read without a magnifying glass and are different than those currently shown in the photo although they do match those listed lower on the page under "Important Information":Ingredients: Purified Water, Organic Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii), Emulse KLA, Stearic Acid, Sunflower Oil (Helianthus Annuus), Grapeseed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Organic Hempseed Oil, Cocoa Butter (Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter), Mango Butter (Mangifera Indica Seed Butter), Coconut Oil, Nipaguard SCE, Fragrance."Emulse KLA" is a blend of cetearyl Alcohol and ceteareth-20. Nipaguard SCE is an antimicrobial.It's a small jar for body butter, measuring under 2 in. tall and 3 in. in diameter and holding just 4 oz. but a fingertip dab will do for an elbow or knee. It's best to use a stick or spoon rather than even a clean finger to scoop cosmetics out of a jar but I'm guilty of not being bothered with that.I would like this cream much better if it didn't have such an irritating fragrance and were a better value.

I cleaned my face as usual, and tried this cream on my face. It says you can use it all over. It stung like a mother Hubbard. Holy camoley it stung. On hands and legs this was okay, until I got clawed by a cat, then the lotion stung my hands (but in all fairness water made my hand hurt). My skin on my hands and feet was pretty soft. My face is usually pretty sensitive, so this could work for you, but I found the odor rather over bearing for a facial moisturizer. However, the stinging was a pretty big turn off for a facial cream.

This is really working great on my shins and ankles which were getting very dry and scaly this winter (yes, I should wear socks but I don't). It is very thick and feels sticky for a minute or two but once it sinks in my skin feels wonderful. I was using it on my frequently washed hands and my face as well but something in the product (I think it was the scent) was quite irritating to my eyes. The scent is sweet and somewhat fruity and I am not fond of it. The scent does not linger on the skin very long. This is the most hydrating cream I have ever tried.

This stuff is AMAZING! It smells great and is very well made. It's got a thick whipped type texture to it. It absorbs very well into my skin and leaves it feeling smooth and moisturized all day. It gets rid of all the ashy, flaky spots on my skin. It even softened up the calloused skin on my heels. Overall, this stuff is amazing and I love it!

This is a rich body creme that does not leave a greasy feel to the skin. There is a fragrance, therefore, I would avoid the eyes and face. I am unsure of the fragrance but I am guessing mango since there is a mango ingredient listed.For 4 ounces, it is a bit pricey. Made in the USA, shea butter has always been known for its moisturizing qualities. The is for everyday use, so I find that it goes on smooth- not too heavy. Great product.
