I bought this tool to repair a continually breaking recliner with a spring in just the wrong place (for repair work). My regular furniture repairman (to whose house payments I am making major contributions thanks to shoddy furniture!) recommended I learn to do some repairs myself and showed me his version of this clever tool. It works perfectly and appears to be very strong. My repairman commented that it is a very nice example of a spring hook tool (I had to keep an eye on mine to make sure it didn't find a way into his toolbox, ha, ha).Be aware it is a MINI spring hook tool. If you need something larger, this isn't for you. But for small springs, such as those found in a recliner, this is exactly the right size.

this tool was awesome. I own a 2017 Polaris slingshot and had trouble getting other tools into the tight spots required to remove the springs from the cat/pipe/muffler area. 2 other tools that I had purchased had bent or had broken during use. This tool is super strong and wont bend nor break. It handled the job very well. it is a great product.

Solid spring tool good quality

This spring puller works great for my two stroke exhaust pipes. Using pliers gets old really quick, I should have purchased a puller a long time ago. The only thing that could have made this puller better, is if it was an inch or two longer for those hard to reach springs

I used for spring on lawn mower and worked fine

With a larger hook and stronger build than the local auto store version of this tool, this t-handle spring remover tool is a solid piece in no-rust chrome that no (home) shop should be without. I originally bought this tool with the intent to make it easier to unhitch the stout clutch return spring on my John Deere LA1xx series lawn tractor. Instead however, after ordering this, I succeeded with this task using a traditional car drum brake spring removal tool and some ingenuity ( straddle the cross-member with a small wrecking bar then the gap is perfect for using the drum brake tool ). Nonetheless, after getting this new hand tool in the mail, thinking back to my decades of auto, cycle, mower & other repair projects, this will come in handy in the years ahead.

Did exactly what I could not without it. I had to stretch a couple of exhaust springs on my dirt bike, when I replaced the muffler, which was impossible without this hook. Works great, with excellent quality, as I thought it may have broken, with all the pressure I had to exert on it. 5 stars!
