Nice quality knife. Looks unusual with the hammered finish and the Ash handle.

Another to join the pile of knives I'll use now and then.
This knife does look fancy but it's not all that great. It's balanced better than other knives I've tried in this price range but still not perfect. Other knives tend to be handle heavy, which means more force needed to chop. This knife has a heavier blade which makes it easier to chop but wears on my wrist after prolonged use. I have yet to find a sub-£25 knife balanced perfectly at the tang. The pattern on the blade doesn't stop wet ingredients clinging to it. It didn't arrive as sharp as I expected and the handle is a little long, even for my big hands, considering your grip needs to be right at the join of blade and tang to better control the heavy blade. The blade is quite thick and I don't find this knife at all useful for fine or quick chopping/slicing. It's fine for heavier/rougher work though and that's probably all it will be used for. I still much prefer my 'very cheap' Zyliss knives... so I'm a bit disappointed in this one.

Heavy, sharp, and look nice
It feels much heavier than your usual budget knife, but for someone with small hands like me I didn’t find it TOO heavy. It is comfortable to hold and chops well. I went back and ordered more of the set to try cooking different dishes, so far everything has worked as I’d expect a new knife to, but also they feel nice when using them.I think they look better in person than on screen, I wasn’t so sure about the hammered effect but bought this because they were wood, the brand is recommended on external sites, and the amazon reviews for the price point. After seeing them in person I think they are really stylish. All in all for something I use at least once a day, it’s worth the marginally extra cost to have something that I like the look of and works well.

VERY sharp, excellent quality
Bought as part of a birthday gift to my partner, he was delighted with the quality of it. I thought the hammered texture looked kind of cheap in the photos, but it looks a lot nicer in person. The length and weight of this knife is perfectly practical and comfortable for extended use and the blade is incredibly sharp, he actually needs to be careful when chopping not to cut chunks out of the new wooden chopping board. He's been using it daily for over a month and there's hardly any wear at all - still glides through pumpkins like butter, so it seems very durable.

Great knife
A small disclaimer, I am not in any sense of the word a chef. I basically eat chicken, rice potatoes and veg and that's it. So if you're an enthusiast chef, take my review with a pinch of salt!I have been usinng pretty old, rather cheap knives up until this point and, I'm not exactly going to be on masterchef any time soon, so an expensive damascus knife was out of the question. This knife looked cool and wasn't that expensive, so I thought I'd give it a try.I'm very impressed so far, it's made cutitng onions, potatoes and chicken much easier than my old knives. It has quite a bit of weight to it too, (relative to my cheap plastic handle knives). It is definitely very sharp though, easily slice through veg with very little effort. All in all I am very happy with this knife and will buy more in the future if I ever feel like I need more than one knife.

Competes with my Global knives for a fraction of the price.
I spent a fortune on Global knives, including the knife block and the diamond sharpening rod, only to add this £20 knife because i liked how it looked, well it not only looks good but cuts vegetables and meat perfectly and effortlessly, with my Global knives i have a vegetable knife and a chefs knife ect ect, this one knife does multiple tasks effortlessly. My Global G39 diamond sharpening steel does a great job keeping this knife razor sharp, as long as you hone the blade after use it will stay sharp for a long time. We use this knife more than our Global's that has to say something about the quality of this knife.

Really happy with my new knife
I was looking for something else but the beauty of this knife caught my attention. Being a vegetarian I thought this would suit my purposes, perfectly, especially the fact that things, wouldn't stick to the blade as I cut. I ordered following a bit of research online and checking the reviews, and I'm not disappointed. I love it. It is super sharp, I hope I can keep it this way. It is slightly heavier than I was expecting, but that's not a problem for me. I'm really happy with it.

Extremely great feeling knife. Definitely worth the price.
This has become my go-to knife in the kitchen. The handle shape is very comfortable. The natural dimpling on the blade makes it great for thin slicing vegetables. The blade is very strong. Out of the box it is extremely sharp, and after 2 months of use it still has no noticeable change in the edge's sharpness. I haven't needed to take a honing rod to it yet.
