If you've never owned a nice draw saw like this one ...you should. I have three of them. This little beauty has a two-sided blade: one side with fine teeth and one side with finer teeth.Once you own one of these draw saws you'll wonder how you survived so long without one. These saws excel at fine, delicate and exacting cuts. The blades are thin and flexible. They also make a great saw for cutting PVC pipe or back cutting the door moldings when installing laminate flooring. And I could go on. But won't. So buy one of these. You'll find out. Vaughn makes nice ones; this is my second Vaughn saw. The saw is made in Japan which is where draw saws were invented. In the right hands you can cut dovetail joints with these saws ...mine, however, are not the right hands.

Great Little Saw
This saw is for fine precision cutting. You might be tempted to try a cut with the fine side (more teeth per inch) first, but remember that it can bind if the piece is too big. I recommend trying both sides on some scrap before using it on a project, just to get a good feel for just how precise this little saw is.

I bought this item for my hobby use. Its first use however assisted me in installing Pergo flooring in my kitchen. Used it on the flooring material and trim. Worked great. I'm going to by another one and some blades.

Excellent saw
Excellent saw. Use it for all sorts of applications.I like the fact it has two different tooth densities for fine and extra fine cuts.Doesn't cut fiberglass though, I ruined a blade trying.

A good, sharp saw with a replaceable blade
A good, sharp saw with a replaceable blade. Blade is easily damaged if you hit something like a staple or a nail.
