I purchased this bag in the 'silver grey' colour. Usually, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to bags and will only buy ones made from real leather. I decided to make an exception for this one however because I like the metallic look and although you can buy metallic real leather bags, they are pricey and usually don't fasten or have any extra compartments. I also wanted a bag that I can use solely for the Summer period, which is light and spacious enough for the necessary everyday items.I am quite impressed by this bag! It's a gorgeous colour and it doesn't look cheap at all, which was my main concern. I was debating which colour to actually buy and so now I know the quality, I will buy the other colour I liked!As other people have mentioned in their reviews, it can actually hold a lot more than it looks like it can. The inside lining is a deep burgundy colour and doesn't rustle loudly like in some other inexpensive bags. It is perfect for everyday use and has a nice little pouch on the outside which fits my phone perfectly! The main compartment fastens with a magnetic press stud and so it is easy to open and close. It will however make me more aware of pick pockets! I'm 5ft 5 and the bag hangs just below my chest, so it can be carried with an arm holding the strap for safety.The only slight issue I have is with the straps. They are very thin and so I'm hoping they won't snap if the bag gets too weighty. They do look well stitched into the bag though. They may also cut into the shoulder if the bag is heavy...I'll just have to find this out for myself.All in all I'm happy with it. I may update after a few weeks to mention how it's holding up and if it scuffs or breaks at all.

I really like the look of this bag. It's a good size, not too big or too small and it comes in a range of colours. It's comfortable to wear but I haven't been able to use it yet as I am trying to get rid of the smell (fish/cat wee). It's really unpleasant but it is getting better the more I spray it with different products. Didn't return it as I do like it and it was really good value for money. Hoping I will be able to use it soon.

I Love Long & Son products, I have bought this bag before in a shop, and got this alternative colour. The light weight was a big factor for me, plus looks good, quality make, zip pocket inside, great size.

Have bought two of these bags and just this minute ordered another one. I was nearly put off as I read all the comments about the smell …it is the lining that actually smells not the bag its self. I sprayed the inside of the bag with pet deodoriser….I run a dog grooming salon and I just used the deodoriser that I sometimes use on the dogs in the salon, I am sure you can get it from pets at home. Hung the bags overnight in the salon and the smell was completely gone in the morning all you could smell was a pleasant smell of the deodoriser… Please don’t be put off by the smell as it is easy to get rid of… can’t emphasise enough how lovely these bags are and no they do not look cheap unless you used to paying £100 plus for a bag… which I am not would rather spend that type of money on my shoes.

The bag is soft to touch, strong and very well made .

The bag is a nice item, service was good, but the colour of the bag is so wildly at odds with the picture l have to remove some stars, the picture suggests a rich emerald/forest Green, the reality is a rather sludgy khaki green, not in the least what I was looking for. I hope to match the bag with some other outfit one day, but a bit of a disappointment in the meantime.

Love the bag. A perfect medium size. I was able to fit in my wallet, phone, sun glasses, reading glasses (yes, there are 2 pouches inside perfect for glasses), my keys, lipgloss, a few other toiletries, hand sanitizer, a summer dress (soft fabric) and a book….The colour was great as well.
