Exactly what I wanted
This is a rebranded HHCC Flower Care / Xiaomi Flora device, and appears to be the international version. It's good value if you take the two day Prime delivery into account, though you can get them cheaper elsewhere with slower delivery. I knew what I was ordering as I wanted to to use it as a probe device for a custom app via reverse engineered Bluetooth communication.I can't vouch for the accuracy as I had nothing to compare to, but the readings make sense, it seems to be reliable, and the provided app is straightforward and easy to use.

Cool product - seems to work
Super cool product!! It is tedious having to change the plant on the app every time - but I understand why - it would allow you to leave it in the plant and use the app for multiple sensors in multiple plants

Very good for the price
This is my second monitor. The first quit after about three weeks. I was able to return it and a replacement was sent very quickly..I have had this about two weeks and like it very much. It is used in a window box so it makes it very useful. There was no problem with the sync process and I think it is accurate. I previously used the Flower Power which cost 3 times as much( unavailable now) and died after 4 years. This works very much the same way except it does not notify you when It needs water. The flower power would notify you but only if my device was close by. So if you are close, just sync this device. The ( non)notification is not an issue for me. I just hope it lasts.

The instructions are not readable.
First off, the instructions must be priced by the square millimeter. It's a small sheet of paper, and the print gives a new definition of "fine print". Not only very small, but the ink is almost the same color as the background paper. It might as well be invisible. See photo. Notice that some black ink is used, but not for all the printing. Why not, what is the idea behind this? I have other products from China, and this seems to be a theme. They use black ink for headings, and the information is in such a light color as to render it invisible. After eye surgery I have 20/20 distance vision, but need reading glasses to read printed instructions. The print is too small to read without magnifying the image, and the color of the ink is no help.Once I figured out what needed to be done, things went somewhat better. The application is useable, although I haven't found a way to use Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. Not a big deal for me. I'm more concerned about moisture, fertilizer, and sunlight, in that order. I haven't had a chance to use it that much yet. But it would be nice to get that information without having to input a plant variety first. The information is based on correct conditions for each plant type, which is nice, but for a garden full of plants of different type, you have to input each one first, before you get information on conditions. You can then switch among them to determine what they require to grow well. Not sure about the distance between your phone and the plant sensor. It suggests 10cm during set up. That might be just to make certain that the sensor is found by Bluetooth however. I have got readings at 20 feet, the distance could be greater. I will cover the top portion with plastic wrap and put it in the garden outside, and see if I can get readings from inside my house. Will update after I get to use it more.

Love it, but not at this price
I purchased one of these before I found there is another manufacturer that sells the same thing for a lot less money. Search Amazon for "Northfifteen" and purchase that one. I don't think it was "Prime", but still cost much less and shipping wasn't bad. For iPhone users, don't use the app linked to in the packaging - there is a newer version of the App listed under a different manufacturer - search the App Store for "Flower Care".As far as the product itself - I love it and have 8 of them total! For someone without a green thumb it's great to track moisture, fertility, brightness and temperature.

So far so good/set up is weird
Just got the product and will update if anything happens. For anyone who gets this product though I wanted to warn you that the set up is a little off. I had previously made an account on the app to check out the company's plant database to make sure it had my plants. However, when I ordered the sensor and tried to properly register it via their instructions on a new account, I kept getting an error. Finally, I went back on the old account I had created and just simply clicked the find device button and that seem to work. So don't try to do the email verification set up it didn't work.

great IF it works.
WAS a great product. First one lasted about two weeks, then stopped connecting to my phone- easy exchange. My second one lasted 38 days. No exchange and I can’t find any seller contact into. I am careful to not get it wet, or submerge it too far in the dirt and still, brokenI loooved this device, it made having a variety of house plants SUPER easy to maintain- but I’m so disappointed by the lifespan.

Pure absolute JUNK
Purchased the unit, installed the app. If you are not within 10 feet of it, it does not connect to the blue tooth. Accuracy I question highly, after about 3 weeks it stopped working completely. Don't waste your money even though you can return it, if it gives out in 5 weeks you will be stuck with this junk.
