I ordered this book in October and had the pleasure of reading a daily devotion over the next six weeks. It was a sad morning on day 41! Jack provided brilliant insights into the working of the Spirit in a relatable and compelling manner. The scripture selections seemed unusual at times but I suspect Jack intended as much so he could help us understand the Spirit's working in a new/different way. Each day's closing prayer was a beautiful response to the scripture reading and reflection. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and have continued to reflect on some of the specific daily devotions.

I love the Holy Spirit, thank you Bro. Levison. This is a must read devotional, study to live by because it causes you to get into the Bible, it draws you into a deeper prayer life. Spirit-breath. . .

His format requires you to daily read scripture, then his meditation, and then write your reflection, which requires some deep thinking. I found myself going back into the rear view mirror a lot and seeing His handiwork in years past and recognizing His presence in awesome situations and offering thanks all over again. Top notch content and format. Well worth it; 40 days of growth.

40 Days with the Holy Spirit is a refreshing and practical book that guides you through Biblical references of the Holy Spirit.

Such a great combination of biblical scholarship and personal devotion. This offers a great connection between those in the "ivory towers" and those in the pews! I wish more scholars would take on the challenge of writing devotional material.
