Playing in part of large band is good fun, however, there are times especially in summer when it gets hot in the rehersal rooms, or even when performing in some venues. As this fan has it's own battery, I can charge it up and run and place it on my stand to provide some airflow and relief on hot days. The speed controller allows me to run the fan at the perfect level. When running at full speed, there is noise from the blades, which is to be expected, however in use, I find that I rarely power it above 25%, so it pretty much remains silent in real operation. The swivel feature is a nice addition, but frankly I've never used it. The clip is great for getting it on the stand, and it's also capable of sitting on a flat surface as in the picture. This has become a part of my regular music gear which I cart with me to every rehearsal and performance.

Bought this in July and now can’t live without. Use it at night and it clips to my headboard keeping me cool all night. The speed is adjustable and even at the lowest it still keeps me comfortable. It’s quiet and portable, I have taken it to work with me, use it in the car, attach it to my grand babies pushchair and cot when napping. Extremely versatile and am now buying a second one for bottom of the bed lol. Cannot recommend this enough, would use this over a standard desk top any day. It’s also very powerful, I can feel the effects from across the room and one charge lasts at least two days and I’ve been using it all night and most of day. If there is a downside it would be the power light is quite bright in a dark room but a small piece of black electrical tape sorted that problem

2023 update:STILL working the very best. Still!2022 update:Still running like new. Have even had them away on holidays with me and they're still as good as new. During the summer heat I'm pretty much using them every day and they are still as good as new.2019 Update on batteryI let it run on about 1/3 power and got about 30hrs out of it. This is a good job.For me, it was, louder than expected.Story:I have a wee USB fan that I have been using for a few years which is a lot quieter, so that is my only comparison. However, with that being said, this boyo is waaaaaay more powerful. My USB fan plugs into my laptop beside the bed while this, I have placed it about 6ft away and can feel the air hitting me rightly, even when on half power, so that would explain the level of noise. I say it's worth it if you're like me and die in the heat.Cons:-Louder than expectedPros:-Feels very well built. I bought this fan to use in my camper. I travel with 2 dogs and we all like to stay cool, this is sometimes very difficult when you travel in a large metal box without air con and only 1 working window!! Whilst this fan is small it is quite powerful and I like the fact it is wireless and rechargeable. The clip is strong, the fan didn’t get dislodged while I was driving. It is pretty quiet and the oscillation is a perk for a small fan. Well worth the money and will be purchasing another soon.

Item arrived on time. Fan can be adjusted to tip in both the horizontal and vertical plains making it easy to direct the airflow as necessary. Easy to charge with usb cable provided. It can either be used as a freestanding or clip on fan with the strength of airflow controlled by a a rotating switch and at a press of a button the fan can oscillate through an arc sweeping the airflow round the room to circulate the air. It takes a bit of experimentation to find the angle to set the fan cage at to start with in each location you use it but this is easy to do. On warm nights on a low but noticeably feelable setting I clipped it on the headboard of my bed and it runs on battery all night and is still running the next morning. I dont know if you used it at full power it would last all night as I just use it on a gentle breeze setting to circulate air to make it comfortable to get to sleep and remain gently cooled. It is very quiet in operation at low speeds so doesnt disturb my sleep.

I bought a couple of these for the kids bedrooms now that we seem to be getting some rather hot nights. I wasn't expecting much from a small fan but was really surprised by these. Being rechargeable, they can sit on a unit or can be clipped to the bedframe or a shelf without the worry of cables. They are a little noisy when on full speed but they produce such a decent amount of breeze at lower speeds that it's not needed. My kids have the fans fairly close to them and maybe around 25% speed. The battery also seems to be lasting around a week before it needs recharging. On top of this, you also have the oscillating option. It would have been a bonus to have USB C charging, rather than the older micro USB but that's just my preference. All in all, one of the best and most versatile small fans I have bought and would highly recommend.
