Sprounts are happy, but quite small
Everything I planted sprouted in these like wildfire under a grow lamp. But now I have a problem that the sprouts are outgrowing the cells and it's still too hot to plant outside, so I have to repot them into larger pots to last another month. These are great to sprouting but not meant to last much past that.

Excellent starter tray and holds really well
The seeds "loved" the tray :-) and the tray held really well for several weeks even in soggy conditions. I planted the seeds with the tray (cut up) - was very convenient to peel it off as well as I planted. Excellent and will buy again. The only negative side is that the number of label are too few.

Item is fun just too small
Each seedling cube is way too small for what I need. Returned

Cells are small
Cells are on the small size so plants out grow them quick. They are a cardboard type material so when they get wet they do fall apart if you try to move them

Good price
First time trying to start our plants from seeds! I lime you can just plant these in the ground once they start to grow!!

Perfect for starting seedlings
These were perfect for starting some seedlings for my vegetable garden indoors. I was having problems with birds raiding my garden and stealing sunflower, zucchini, peas and corn seeds right out of the ground just after planting. Also, bunnies or something else nibbling up pea shoots and pumpkin plants as soon as they sprouted above ground. So I did a second round of gardening, using these to get my sunflower, pea, corn, cilantro, zucchini and pumpkins going safely indoors first. Tip: get some trays to put these in, since they will get soggy from watering; once sprouts come up, put them outside during the day to soak up some sun, but bring in at night or else you may get foraging critters. Easy to transplant once they're ready; the roots grow through the peat pots, so all you have to do is dig a little hole and put either the whole thing or cut up the individual pots for planting.

Cheap trash that falls apart immediately, labels don't work
Very difficult to separate the trays from each other without tearing some of them. Begins to lose structure and crumble or tear from the first time you water them. I don't see how they could possibly last the 7-10 days till my seeds actually sprout plus however many weeks till they're ready for transplant.Labels are also useless and made from non-sustainable plastic rather than the usual sturdy paperboard. Tried writing on them with 3 different types of pen but they do not hold the ink, even hours later you can still accidentally smudge the words off. Also, cup size is smaller than expected compared to similar products.Product fails on every count.
