CHEAP. DO NOT BUY.
The worst. I purchased 3 of these and within four months I have had two of them fail me. I have had two of them replaced and I just have a feeling the third one might just fail on me.Even the replacements aren't that great. The blues that come off of all three of my units are completely different looking. The colors are not consistent with one another. If my third one fails I will definitely be asking for my money back.Do not purchase these units. You are better off buying something else.

great lights, lacking in spectrum and quality control on the chips color temp.
First, let's start with the good. Build quality is solid, loved the feel of the light. Output is very nice and bright. The banding that I've seen mentioned was a non issue for me, and one of these covered my 48" 55 gallon ok, but I ordered two anyways for best coverage. That brings me to the bad.. I was sent two, stamped the same part number, same color, same wattage. What I received was very different lights with one white channel in the 6k range and the other white channel on the other fixture a very nice 14k. The blue channel really never achieves a no e blue and always appears violet white realistically, but like to be about a nice 18k at 100% blue on both fixtures. NICE. Let me just say if I ddint expect all in one and had planned an actinoc support. I would likely use them as everything else except spectrum and the way different white channels between the two I loved. If you only need one fixture, and prefer a very very white look for your tanks, don't hesitate to buy these. If multiples are needed, or you like a more blue spectrum like a 20k halide or a 14k with good actinic supplementation, look elsewhere.

Great and powerful Light that Doesn't break the Bank!
I purchased this light with the reccomendation of other reefers. I was very hesitant as its the first time I have upgraded my lights from T5s. Let me say this fixture is insanely bright. It has two dimmer switches and has makings every 10 numbers for easy configuration. The light does have some color banding but its not that bad. One con I would say is the light is closer to the 12-14K spectrum. When both channels are on full the corals do not fluoresce very well. Whom ever makes this light, perhaps remove some of the white light modules and add a few more 420nm ones. But great light and will mostly buy another in the future! I 100% reccomend if you need a great light at a fractrion of the cost.

Great coverage. White light.
Light is a bit white for a reef tank, but they work very well. I just added some all blue 3w LED flood lights, and my 125 gallon looked beautiful. Corals grew very fast.

Light failed withing a few months. Had to return the item.
Was a great light while it worked...then blue spectrum failed after only a few months. Tried to get in touch with seller for warranty information as it is advertised that this light has a one year warranty. There was no contact information on how to get in touch with the seller. I contacted Amazon and was offered a return shipping label to ship it back to them and told I would get a refund. When I checked my refund there was a $27 restocking fee taken out of the balance. Not cool Amazon! I returned a defective light that was under warranty. Not worth the hassle for a light that failed.

1 Power supply stopped working after 6 months
Worked well for 6 months and now it appears one of the power supplies has gone out on it.Plus: Compact size, dual channel for color mixingCons: Longevity of components. Color spectrum is just a hair better than 10k, was hoping to get between 15k and 20k color spectrum.

Finally a low cost metal halide replacement
I thought this fixture would be to white or yellow since a Red+ Blue + Green LED would = 3 whites for reef use, but I am pleased to tell everyone the blue channel is about a 18k color and white channel was a lot bluer than my 10k 250 watt MH by XM so i would call it a 12k, with both channels on at 70% gives a beautiful shimmery about 14k to 16k look. I got no disco effects on my 30" deep tank, Tank chiller has yet to go on since installation. colors are not consistent from fixture to fixture but can be tuned with dimmer.Note: blue channel is a little violet and much to strong for all night moonlight use( I am using my existing 5 watts 24/7), also I have this and the newer moonlight version this version is better for deeper tanks due to narrower optics an allows me to go from 5 watts moonlight ,2nd stage 50 watts (as measured)red, green ,blue, 3rd stage plus 60 watts peak and the newer(moonlight)style fixture has both cob lights controlled by one cable so it goes from 9 watt moonlights to all 110watts on if using plug in timerspic left side is 250w XM10k metal halide and right is the aquamana 156w cob. for comparisonsMy latest setup is 3 Aquamanas and 36 X 3 watt diy LED for a 180G
